The LA Times and other mainstream media papers are incorrectly reporting it as a “failed sting operation,” but that’s just the cover story. In reality, Operation Fast and Furious was a raging success! It achieved its stated goal which was placing thousands of rifles and pistols into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, then hoping enough violence would spill over into the USA that the American people would call for gun sales restrictions. Whether you admire the Second Amendment or not, you’ve got to admit this is a particularly insidious conspiracy because it has the government directly promoting sales of weapons to criminals. Normally when you walk into a gun store, you can’t buy a weapon without passing an FBI background check. So there’s a safety mechanism in place to prevent guns from being purchased by felons or non-citizens. But in this conspiracy operation, the ATF specifically told gun store owners (such as Lone Wolf in Arizona) to sell guns to criminals even if they didn’t pass the background checks. This is just one example of how the U.S. federal government has become a criminal organization that promotes gun violence in America. Remember the conventional cover story for all this? That the guns were going to be “tracked” to see where they ended up? There’s just one problem with this whole story: There were no tracking devices installed on any of the guns being sold to criminals. (NaturalNews) The U.S. Food and Drug Administration masterminded an illegal international abduction of an American citizen as part of its illegal war against natural cancer treatment products, NaturalNews can now reveal. All foreign residents of Ecuador have their travel entry and exit events recorded in something called a “migratory report” or a “movement report.” This report records what day you entered or exited the country, allowing immigration officials to accurately calculate your visa status. (Ecuador has a very serious problem with illegal immigrants from Peru, Colombia and surrounding nations, so it tracks immigration movement quite diligently.) If you leave Ecuador, your exit is processed through immigration. This is unlike the USA, where you can fly out of the country without passing through immigration checkpoints. In Ecuador, they have tighter controls on people leaving the country, and they record the date that you left. So any person leaving the country through any lawful process must have an exit event recorded on their migration movement report . The movement report of Greg Caton, however, shows no official recognition that he ever left Ecuador in 2007. That’s because he was kidnapped by U.S. officials who violated international law and violated Ecuador’s own legal process in forcibly removing Greg Caton from Ecuador. This document proves it. Notably, Greg Caton was not doing anything considered illegal by Ecuador. In fact, the idea of creating your own herbal salve products using plants from Mother Nature is considered perfectly normal throughout Central and South America. The last movement recorded on this document is from September 2, 2007 , showing he entered Guayaquil from the United States four years ago. Importantly, there is no record that Greg Caton ever left Ecuador when he was abducted by U.S. State Dept. officials. In fact, as far as Ecuador was concerned, Greg Caton had never left the country at all. Of course, in reality, he has spent roughly the last two years sitting in prison in Louisiana , because once U.S. officials successfully kidnapped and flew Caton back to the United States, they threw him in prison to serve out the remaining two years on his probation sentence. Caton was convicted of selling “unapproved drugs,” you see. And those unapproved drugs were none other than the plant-based anti-cancer herbal salves that have, for decades, infuriated both the FDA and the AMA. If the U.S. had followed the law, it would have worked through the legal system in Ecuador to apply for extradition, then it would have argued in favor of extradition during Ecuadorian court proceedings. This is the normal extradition process pursued under international law. But the U.S. government, of course, completely bypassed lawful extradition proceedings and simply kidnapped Greg Caton using armed Ecuadorian military personnel who were bribed into taking part in this insidious FDA plot. Other criminal violations of Greg Caton’s rights Here are details on some of the other criminal acts pursued by the U.S. government against Greg Caton, in total violation of his legal rights: • U.S. agents convinced Ecuadorian officials to create a warrant by a “Fiscal” (prosecutor) of Migration with investigative matters, even though Greg Caton did not commit any crime in Ecuadorian territory. • Judge Angel Rubio, the presiding judge in Ecuador, after reviewing the facts of the case, issued an immediate release order for Caton. In other words, the result of the extradition hearing was that Judge Rubio did not find any evidence against him. There was no evidence presented that Mr. Caton had done anything that would warrant his extradition. This order was never fulfilled, as U.S. agents simply threw Caton onto an American Airlines airplane and fly him out of the country (illegally). Caton legal rights as a legal permanent resident of the country of Ecuador were completely violated. • The police officer, Captain Wilson Reyes of the Ecuadorean National Police, deprived Caton of his freedom for more than 24 hours without the benefit of trial, imprisoning him for a period of time that exceeds the time allotted by Ecuadorian law, before the benefit of his extradition hearing. He did not allow Caton any change of clothes, or access to food. • No one read Caton his rights in his native language, as required by Ecuadorian law. Instead, Reyes relied upon information from an Interpol alert that stated that Caton was fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian , none of which is true. Caton’s only language of fluency is his native one: English. • Greg Caton was put on an American Airlines plane — Flight # 952 on Friday, December 11, 2009 — thereby illegally deporting him. When Caton asked Reyes where they were going, after being taken from the prison in Guayaquil, Reyes stated in clear, understandable English that he was being taken to see the judge for his hearing. Instead of taking Caton to his hearing, Reyes took Caton immediately to Guayaquil International Airport. He was deported on a non-stop flight from Guayaquil to Miami. About an hour before the flight, Caton was able to acquire cell phone and notify his wife of what was transpiring. Calls were made to Caton’s legal team which resulted in none other than the Tenth Judge of Criminal Guarantees, Dr. Edgar Salazar Vera, who requested that Caton — who by that time was on the tarmac — be immediately released. The plane’s pilot refused to release him, claiming to be on American territory , even though the plane was clearly sitting in Ecuador. Thus, an American Airlines pilot refused to honor the orders of an Ecuadorian judge on Ecuadorian territory. • Greg was escorted by two Ecuadorian policemen, one of whom was Capitan Wilson Reyes, who himself refused to obey the order from an Ecuadorian judge. Thus, Reyes committed treason by opting to follow orders by the U.S. State Dept. over those of an Ecuadorian federal judge. FBI agents spotted as part of the illegal abduction operation in Ecuador In addition to U.S. State Dept. agents who took part in the illegal abduction and kidnapping of Gregory Caton, FBI agents were found to be involved in a manhunt to find Greg. What follows is a police report (translated into English) filed in Ecuador by a local Ecuadorian citizen who was hassled by U.S. FBI agents working in conspiracy with local Ecuadorian police officials to try to find Greg Caton: (NaturalNews has the original email on file, and the date of this original email was December 15, 2008. We have removed the name of the sender of this email for their own protection.) While driving my car taking my 16 year old son to school, I was suddenly intercepted by a pickup truck: double cabin, light beige, with license plate number RYA 003. In the vehicle were 4 National Police Agents, dressed in civilian clothes. They told me they had received a report of a stolen grey Volkswagen with Pichincha license plates. I showed them the necessary documents which confirmed I was the owner of the car. I showed them my ID, passport, car documents. After that they asked for my residency papers which I showed to them and they saw that everything was in order. Since all my documents were in order, I thought I could go home. That’s when they told me I had to be detained and go to the Migration Office so they could check and compare my documents with theirs, even though I had presented all documents and all were clear and up to date. These agents said that this was routine procedure, making me sit in the back seat of their pickup truck; one agent sat with me while another one drove. Meanwhile they put my son in the back seat of my car; one agent sat in the back with him and another one drove. When we entered the Migration Office property, the doors were opened immediately to allow the vehicle to enter. The Migration Office Police recognized the agents’ faces. Once the two vehicles entered, we drove to the back side of the building through the parking lot and stopped there. They left me inside the vehicle with the doors locked, telling me I had to wait until they compared my documents with Migrations documents. They then placed four heavy black boxes on the ground on the front, sides and back of car. Meanwhile, my son was locked up in my car separated from me. Thirty minutes later, after sitting inside the car without knowing what was happening, they opened the door and told me to get out. A man approached, he looked like some kind of Migration Office authority dressed in a blue suit. He was accompanied by three Ecuadorians wearing black bullet proof vests with white FBI letters on them . The man in the suit was holding a folder and he approached me, opens the file and I notice that the first page was a document with a US Consulate or Embassy emblem on it with the heading written in English. I could see they were documents of deportation and arrest for Gregory James Caton . At that moment a man, evidently American, comes out of the Migration building wearing a light brown suit. I realized this guy had something to do with the Ecuadorian agents; he spoke to them in Spanish and ordered them to put away the folder immediately. Immediately after that, the American ordered me to go back to the vehicle and asked me in English if I knew Greg James Caton and if I knew where to find him. He said he didn’t have a problem with me and to give them Greg’s phone number. I told them I knew nothing and that even if I did, I would not tell him. This American grabbed my cell phone from my hands and gave it to the Ecuadorian agent that was dressed in a blue suit; he checked all of the numbers that were on my cell phone while the other Agent wrote them down. I was getting calls on my cell phone and the Agent was answering them. They once again put me inside the vehicle and the agent who had been at the driving wheel kept on saying, be patient, be patient and wait. The reason why they did that was to give the other agents time to get to Greg James Caton’s home in Urbanizacion Torres del Salado. That is why they took my cell from me so that I could not communicate with Greg. They saw I was irritated; I told them that all of this was going directly to the Minister of National and International Security [NAME REDACTED]. When they heard this, these police agents and the American gave me back my cell phone and they said that they didn’t want any problems with anyone. They let me go at 17h30. I will add that the Ecuadorian agents seemed quite familiar with the American; they demonstrated that his wish was their command. After this, I immediately called [NAME REDACTED] who works with me as a translator. I told her what happened. Immediately she went to Caton’s residence where she saw a brand new dark blue Ford Explorer with black windows and without license plates that had 4 agents inside, one of them wearing white FBI letters. Two other brand new silver pickups with dark windows, double cabin, without license plates with four agents inside joined them and parked in an outside of Greg James Caton’s home. The guard at the entrance to the Ubanizacion said that the agents were there to look for Greg Caton because his visa had expired, which is false because all of his documents are in order. What you are reading about here, folks, is an eyewitness account of a criminal U.S. government operation involving FBI agents illegally placed on the ground in Ecuador . BMJ admits that fraud claim against Dr. Andrew Wakefield has no basis in fact

(Natural News) Big Pharma, the FDA, AMA and other medical associations falsely accuse conscientious healers of crimes that they themselves routinely commit or cover up. Unfortunately, they get away with it since they are the “authority”, and the mainstream media (MSM) usually favors authority’s version of events. Dr. Andrew Wakefield was a victim of the BMJ’s ( British Medical Journal ) injustice, which also helped hide vaccine injury science from public awareness. What Wakefield Actually Did Dr. Wakefield was organizing clinical research on Crohn’s disease, colitis and gastrointestinal disorders in young children. The research intended to determine if there was a link between those disorders and measles at the Royal Free Hospital in England. Dr. Wakefield published the results of this clinical study in the U.K. medical journal Lancet in 1998. Children were brought to him because of his interest, but contrary to all accusations, he never treated them. He described himself as “the thinker” when Health Ranger Mike Adams recently interviewed him. In this particular study, he was the thinker for the team of doctors directly involved with the treatment. Another accusation, that Dr. Wakefield asserted a definite link of MMR vaccines to autism was never published. He never made that claim. Some of his team colleagues put forth their interpretation that MMRs were linked to autism, but that was not part of Wakefield’s Lancet paper. Dr. Wakefield was looking into the possible link of those commonly experienced gut disorders in children under five years old as a precursor to their autism related behavior. That link to MMRs was actually made by the parents of those 12 participating children. They were doing fine until they received MMR vaccinations, and the parents reported this to Dr. Wakefield’s team. Dr. Wakefield included the parents’ reports in the case study findings. Including parents’ observations in case study reports is highly appropriate. Dr. Wakefield’s only conclusion was the measles/gut disorder connection to autistic behavior possibilities merited further study. Other Discoveries that Corroborate Wakefield’s Findings According to a Mike Adams article, fourteen months before Dr. Wakefield’s paper was published, two other researchers discovered the same problems of gut disorders and autistic behavior in seven children. Their 1996 presentation was called “Entero-colitis and Disintegrative Disorder Following MMR – A Review of the First Seven Cases.” Those seven cases became part of the final twelve cases in Dr. Wakefield’s 1998 Lancet paper. This and other facts disprove accusations that Wakefield fabricated the twelve reports. A more recent Wake Forest University study determined that 70 of 82 autistic children they studied had measles virus in their guts. Interestingly, the measles virus strain they discovered was not a wild virus — it was the same strain used in MMR vaccines. A Russian born U.K. pediatrician, Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, has not only established the connection of gastrointestinal tract disorders among the very young to autistic and other behavioral problems, she cures them with proper diet and supplementation. She learned how the hard way, by curing her own autistic son. Dr. McBride coined the acronym GAPS for her book Gut and Psychology Syndrome . She describes the dietary solutions to her explanations of how the gut and the brain are connected. This relationship has been known by traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. In a recent U.S. lecture, she mentioned that her colleagues were afraid to mention Dr. Wakefield due of the witch-hunt conspired against him earlier. But she acknowledges his research efforts as accurate contributions to her practice. The U.K. government refuses to compensate cases of encephalitis (brain disease) due to vaccine injury. Here we may have one motive for a conspiracy against Dr. Wakefield. There Really Was a Conspiracy There are other motives from the usual suspects. The allegedly corrupt Murdoch empire’s Sunday Times is run by Rupert Murdoch’s son James. The Murdoch family is heavily invested in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), a vaccine manufacturer. James Murdoch is even on GSKs board of directors. James hired a freelance hack journalist, Brian Deer, to fabricate the Wakefield fabrication. It created a firestorm in London that ignited another vaccine promoter, Dr. Fiona Godlee, who happens to be the editor in chief for the British Journal of Medicine (BMJ). She propagated Deer’s lies officially. This pincer move encircled the U.K. Government’s medical establishment and forced a five member GMC (General Medical Council) hearing on Dr. Wakefield. Perhaps the hearing intended to defend the U.K.’s stance on not awarding vaccine injury victim? Trio of Los Angeles raw food advocates reportedly charged with raw milk conspiracy (update 1)

Weather control is no myth: Scientists engineer thunderstorms over Abu Dhabi

Today in Abu Dhabi, scientists have successfully manipulated entire weather systems, causing up to fifty downpours of rain across the Al Ain region the desert nation over the last year. As abhorrent goes, this pegs it.” TSA is fighting for its survival The TSA is being threatened right now in a big way: One airport in Florida is already planning to ditch the agency and hire private contractors to run security. A NYC lawmaker has called for the “dismantling” of the TSA, and Rep Ron Paul has introduced legislation that would result in TSA agents being arrested for felony crimes if they touched peoples’ junk. The TSA, in other words, is fighting for its very survival right now. What it desperately needs is some new terrorist incident to remind the American people how much they need to give up their freedoms in exchange for security. Now, I’m not saying the TSA is going to plot to blow up an airplane or anything, but if there’s anybody who has the access to sneak something past airport security, it’s the TSA. How false flag operations achieve government goals The United States government has a long and detailed history of “staging” events in order to sway public opinion. The Gulf of Tonkin event in the Vietnam War era was deliberately staged by U.S. government officials in order to justify an escalation of military attacks on the North Vietnamese. It’s not that I personally distrust the TSA in particular, because there are some good people who work there and who are not to blame for all this, but at the same time I’ve been around long enough and studied enough true history to know that government organizations will do practically anything to stay in power . The DEA, for example, is desperately fighting against marijuana legalization not because marijuana is some highly dangerous drug (it isn’t), but because it’s job security for DEA agents . The CDC, likewise, went completely out of its way last year to spread fear about the H1N1 Swine Flu for the same reasons: Job security. Yes, the FBI, CIA and NSA all have “a few good men” who are doing things around the world that you and I don’t even want to know about. Stuff that would make you cringe if you knew about it. The sacrifices being made by some of these individuals in the name of protecting America’s interests on the international stage will never be fully known, nor recognized by anyone in the mainstream. The real war is with the true enemies of America — those state-sponsored terrorist groups that genuinely want to destroy America and everything it stands for. Reasonable security is fine As a freedom-loving American who values both my freedom and my safety, I will gladly submit to having my luggage X-rayed and walking through a metal detector. I will gladly sit beside an armed Air Marshal on the flight, captained by an armed pilot on the flight deck who hopefully has a couple of spare mags along with his Colt 1911, too (pilots carry firearms on airplanes right now, most people don’t even know..). Yet as much as those security precautions seem reasonable, I refuse to subject myself to a body X-ray that emits ionizing radiation, and I refuse to give in to an obscene pat-down that involves government personnel feeling up my genitals, with or without a latex glove. At that point, “security” has become tyranny. And the terrorists have already won. We need to rise up and stop this. Just as some of our undercover federal agents (and active soldiers) are fighting for America’s interests overseas, you and I need to be fighting for our freedom right here at home, on American soil, with this airport security issue. We are not subjects. We are not cattle. We are sovereign citizens and we will not surrender our bodies to be fondled by government agents with the excuse that “it’s for our own good.” And be on the watch for a “staged” security event designed to convince the American people that they need to give up yet more freedoms in the name of police-state security. 17 big questions about the handling of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill

(NaturalNews) What’s clear about the BP oil catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico is that the independent journalists are doing a better job of asking the really tough questions than the mainstream media. Sure, CNN, Fox and others are bringing some attention to the matter, and they’ve done some solid reporting on it, but they haven’t yet found a way to ask the deeper questions like why the U.S. government seems to be colluding with BP to cover up the truth about the spill. Just the other day, I found an article entitled, “16 Burning Questions About The Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill” on the TheEconomicCollapseBlog.com site (http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/16-burning-questions-about-the-gulf-of-mexico-oil-spill-that-we-deserve-some-answers-to). It was a really insightful collection of important questions, so I’ve repeated them below. The author of these questions wasn’t mentioned on the page, so I regret I cannot properly attribute the list, but I do think they’re worth reviewing, so I’ve included my own commentary and an extra question below. Here are the 16 questions: #1) Barack Obama has authorized the deployment of more than 17,000 National Guard members along the Gulf coast to be used “as needed” by state governors. So what are all of these National Guard troops going to be doing exactly? Are the troops going to be used to stop the oil or to control the public? Mike’s comment: Good question. Much of the response activity to the spill seems to be about controlling the public’s perception and limiting media access to the spill site rather than actually cleaning up the mess. #2) Barack Obama has also announced the creation of a “Gulf recovery czar” who will be in charge of overseeing the restoration of the Gulf of Mexico region following the oil spill. So is appointing a “czar” Obama’s idea of taking charge of a situation? #3) Because it is so incredibly toxic, the UK’s Marine Management Organization has completely banned Corexit 9500, so if there was a major oil spill in the UK’s North Sea, BP would not be able to use it. So why is BP being allowed to use Corexit 9500 in the Gulf of Mexico? Mike’s answer: Because Corexit kills sea animals and makes them sink and disappear rather than allowing them to wash up on shore where the emotional outcry would be even worse than it is already. #4) It is being reported that 2.61 parts per million of Corexit 9500 (mixed with oil at a ratio of 1:1o) is lethal to 50% of fish exposed to it within 96 hours. That means that 1 gallon of Corexit 9500/oil mixture is capable of rendering 383,141 gallons of water highly toxic to fish. So why was BP allowed to dump 1,021,000 gallons of Corexit 9500 and Corexit 9527 into the Gulf of Mexico, and why aren’t they being stopped from dumping another 805,000 gallons of these dispersants that they have on order into the Gulf? Mike’s answer: Sadly, BP is running the show in the Gulf, not the government! The U.S. government has sold out to private corporations who now think they own the gulf and can run operations there however they see fit. #5) If these dispersants are so incredibly toxic to fish, what are they going to do to crops? What are they going to do to people? Mike’s answer: They’re obviously going to poison the entire Gulf Coast region if hurricanes whip up these chemicals and deposit them on land. We could be looking at a complete wipeout of the Florida citrus industry, for example, if all the worst conditions converge. #6) If the smell of the oil on some Gulf beaches is already so strong that it burns your nostrils, then what in the world is this oil doing to wildlife that encounter it? #7) Is it a bad sign that birds from the Gulf region are flocking north by the thousands? Mike answer: Remember the Tsunami in the Indian ocean a few years back? The animals fled first, while the clueless people stayed behind and got clobbered by the deadly wave. I think a similar thing could be happening in the Gulf. All it takes is one hurricane to turn the entire region into a toxic stew of chemical poison. #8) Why is BP being allowed to use private security contractors to keep the American people away from the oil cleanup sites? Mike’s answer: Yes, this is the real question. BP is running security in the Gulf the same way Halliburton runs security in the Middle East. The corporate contractors are now the police force in the area, and they’re running the Gulf as if they owned it! This is a clear indication that the corporations have taken over our government. #9) Why is BP openly attempting to manipulate the search results on sites like Google and Yahoo? #10) Why has the FAA shut down the airspace above the Gulf of Mexico oil spill? What don’t they want the American people to see? Mike’s answer: There are lots of answer to this one: The feds probably don’t want people in small airplanes taking aerial photos and posting them online (because the Obama administration is working overtime to cover up the truth here, much like the Bush administration did with the flag-draped coffins coming home from war in the Middle East). It could also be that they are planning something really crazy like a deep ocean nuke to collapse the well, and they don’t want civilians falling out of the sky when the mushroom cloud appears. #11) Senator Bill Nelson of Florida says there are reports that there are additional ruptures in the sea floor from which oil is leaking. If there are quite a few of these additional ruptures, then how in the world does BP expect to completely stop this oil leak? Mike’s answer: BP actually doesn’t expect to stop this leak anytime soon. They are clearly in full-on spin mode, just trying to deny the truth and spin the words to buy themselves more time to offload stock shares before the whole thing comes tumbling down. #12) Why are scientists finding concentrations of methane at up to 10,000 times normal background levels in Gulf waters? Mike’s answer: Because BP broke the ocean floor, and now huge volumes of gas hydrates (which contain methane) are bubbling up from places that were previously trapped safely underground. #13) At some testing stations in the Gulf of Mexico, levels of benzene have been detected at over 3000 parts per billion, and levels of hydrogen sulfide have been detected as high as 1192 parts per billion. Considering that these levels would be highly toxic to humans, why hasn’t the general public been warned? #14) Why are so many Gulf oil spill disaster workers showing up at local hospitals complaining of a “mysterious illness”? Mike’s answer: This is going to be the Gulf War Syndrome of the Gulf Coast. Or the 9/11 asbestos question affecting firefighters. There will be a wave of toxic side effects from the use of chemicals in the Gulf, and both BP and the federal government will predictably deny any link between the chemicals and the health effects for years to come. #15) If “70% or 80%” of the protective booms are doing absolutely nothing at all to stop the oil, then what is going to stop the millions of gallons of oil in the Gulf from eventually reaching shore? Mike’s answer: Nothing, of course. The oil is going to reach the shore, and there’s nothing BP or the feds can do to stop in. In fact, it seems as if they are trying to interfere with the cleanup by halting the barges that were supposed to be vacuuming oil just off the beaches. #16) It is being reported that the deep sea oil plumes are creating huge “dead zones” where all creatures are dying as they are deprived of oxygen. If this oil spill continues to grow could the vast majority of the Gulf of Mexico become one gigantic “dead zone”? Mike’s answer: Indeed, that is precisely what looks likely to happen. The Gulf of Mexico could become a massive dead zone, adding to the long list of humanity’s crimes against the planet. Remember the BP press conferences on cable news? A U.S. Coast Guard representative was standing right there beside the BP spokesperson, almost as if she were a subordinate of BP. This is insane! If anything, the US Coast Guard should be telling BP what to do, not the other way around. And why is the US Coast Guard restricting reporters’ access to the spill areas, threatening them with arrest if they “trespass.” Trespass into PUBLIC waters? Doesn’t anybody realize that BP does not own the Gulf of Mexico and if we want to take our boats out into the Gulf to get some video of what’s really happening there, that’s our right! But the U.S. government is now working for BP, it seems, and they’re trying to protect BP’s image by restricting the freedoms of ordinary Americans. Sound familiar? That’s why I think this Gulf of Mexico disaster is another 9/11 reactionary freedom squasher in the works. Just wait… you’ll see what kind of freedom-destroying ideas are put forth by our lawmakers in response to this catastrophe. When it’s all said and done, it won’t only be British Petroleum that loses; it will be all of us. The Corporatocracy and government collusion What we’re really witnessing here with the BP disaster is our own government colluding with the powerful corporatocracy to cover up the truth all while making it worse by interfering with legitimate cleanup efforts. It’s almost as if the federal government were actively working to worsen the problem and expand the impact of the disaster. But that brings up the question: Why? Why would our own government worsen a catastrophe? The answer, of course, is right in front of you. Just visit ground zero in New York City and remind yourself of all the various ways the U.S. government expanded its power following the collapse of the twin towers. “Never waste a good crisis” is the mantra of Big Government today, and the easiest way to steal even more power away from the people is to turn a small disaster into a big disaster, then leap in with a “government solution” that enacts some large, oppressive new act that never would have been possible before the disaster. So what kind of oppressive new laws does the Obama administration want to put in place in response to this disaster? Perhaps government control over all oceans, or government control over all seafood. Maybe they want to outlaw oil over the next 25 years and force everybody to transition to some other form of energy (which may not actually be a bad idea from an ecological perspective, but at what price to freedom?). There are a thousand other conspiracy theories that try to guess at what the government’s true agenda might be in this moment. While it’s hard to say which of them (if any) might be true, one thing is crystal clear: The government does not seem interested in solving the problem in the Gulf of Mexico. It is covering up the truth, threatening mainstream journalists who try to photograph the region, restricting air travel over the well site, restricting boat travel anywhere near the spill, and basically lying to the public on a daily basis about what’s really happening there. That alone should make any thinking person suspicious. If the situation were really under control, why would they have to lie about it? US government poisons its own citizens There is precedent for believing that the U.S. government might try to poison its own citizens in order to achieve a political goal. During Prohibition, the U.S. government actually released poisoned alcohol in order to harm (or kill) those who were defying the law and drinking liquor.
