To actually see these words in print is strongly indicative of the severity of the global financial crisis our world now faces — a crisis, by the way, which is nothing less than a global economic coup that has seen entire nations virtually taken over by criminal banksters. In stunning show of bureaucratic idiocy, EU directive bans health claim that water prevents dehydration

(NaturalNews) The collection of medically-indoctrinated idiots known as the European Food Standards Authority has officially disallowed a product health claim that says water prevents dehydration . This means the EU does not even recognize the therapeutic ability of water to reverse chronic dehydration. It makes you wonder: If water cannot treat dehydration, then what would they use instead? Vaccines? The claim that was denied by the EFSA stated that “regular consumption of significant amounts of water can reduce the risk of development of dehydration.” This claim was submitted to the EFSA by consultants who advise food and beverage companies (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/8897662/EU-bans-claim-that-water-can-prevent-dehydration.html). They wanted to see if such a commonsense claim would be recognized by the EFSA. It’s kind of an “IQ test” for the EFSA, you see. Not surprisingly, the EFSA failed that IQ test. Maybe that’s because it is staffed by morons who probably can’t tell their own arse from their eye sockets, and it’s a wonder they can even remember to pull down their own pants before using the toilet. So now, the denial of this commonsense health claim about water has been made into an EU directive which applies across the entire European Union. Oh, goody! Now total idiocy is the law of the land… Frontal lobe? What frontal lobe? Let it be known that if you ever had any doubts about the cognitively evacuated morons who run the EU, those doubts have now been laid to rest with this EU directive which officially declares that water cannot prevent dehydration . They might as well just declare that breathing cannot provide oxygen to your body, or that eating food cannot provide calories and nutrition. The EU has reached a level of mouth-gaping, slobbering stupidity that no nation in human history has quite matched . Sure, the U.S. is trying to beat the EU at its own game with idiotic debt spending ($15 trillion in debt now under Obama, who added $4 trillion all by himself), followed by the loony idea that the way out of too much debt is to increase debt spending even more. And yes, Greece is probably leading the way in total fiscal stupidity by bailing out rich bankers while saddling its own citizens with a lifetime of virtually un-payable debt. But no one has yet achieved the high honor of “slap me in the face with a ham sandwich” stupidity that we’re now witnessing with this EFSA declaration. Makes the bendy banana law look downright intelligent! It is a perfect example of what Brussels does best. Spend three years, with 20 separate pieces of correspondence before summoning 21 professors to Parma where they decide with great solemnity that drinking water cannot be sold as a way to combat dehydration. Then they make this judgment law and make it clear that if anybody dares sell water claiming that it is effective against dehydration they could get into serious legal bother.” But then, proudly standing up for the morons of planet Earth, Prof Brian Ratcliffe, a spokesman for the Nutrition Society , “…said dehydration was usually caused by a clinical condition and that one could remain adequately hydrated without drinking water,” according to the Telegraph. “The EU is saying that this does not reduce the risk of dehydration and that is correct,” Ratcliffe said. Babbledegookledygok. Morons-R-Us! Are we surprised such a quote is coming from the Nutrition Society? What could be more fundamental to nutrition than the water solubility of nutrients which obviously require WATER to be carried throughout the body? Or the fact that roughly around 75% of the human body is made of water at any given moment? What do these geniuses think makes your blood a liquid in the first place? Oh, let me guess. Here’s the new entrance exam to the Nutrition Society: Question: Which substance is liquid at room temperature and hydrates the human body? A) Mercury B) Water C) Gasoline D) None of the above According to the Nutrition Society and the EFSA, the correct answer is D!! Wow. Words escape me. I cannot quite come up with the proper collection of insults to express the pathetic expansion of zombie-brained stupidity that has infected the EU leadership these days… but as an American, I am duty-bound to try… Meanwhile, I can’t wait for the same brainless buffoons to officially declare that two plus two does not equal four… or that war is peace, slavery is freedom, and soylent green is the only nutrition you ever really need. We have reached a point of such runaway stupidity and brainless idiocy that I’m not even sure modern society can continue to function at all. Even a one-eyed monkey could run the EU better than present-day EU politicians and bureaucrats. Why, you ask? Because at least the one-eyed monkey is only half-blind . In the movie Idiocracy (which remains one of my favorite films of all time), water was banned in water fountains and agricultural irrigation, replaced by a sports drink called Brawndo – the Thirst Mutilator , a drink that’s “got electrolytes!” When the crops started dying after being doused in Brawndo, nobody could figure out why. After all, Brawndo’s “got electrolytes,” right? So why wouldn’t plants love it? (In the film, the Brawndo corporation actually purchased the FDA.) That’s giving them too much credit… To call EFSA bureaucrats “bird-brained” might actually be a stretch (in their favor), because even my own free-range chickens are smart enough to know that water treats dehydration. Yep, my birds are downright geniuses by EFSA standards, apparently, because every time they feel thirsty, they waddle right over to a water dish and lap up some water with their tiny bird tongues (yes, chickens have tiny bird tongues). Meanwhile, the finest institutional minds of the EU, after spending many months pondering the issue, could not even reach the simple realization my pea-brained chickens are born with: That the body has a fundamental need for water because water prevents dehydration. Every animal innately knows this. Even mosquitoes have the brains to seek out water. So technically, EU bureaucrats are not even “mosquito-brained.” It’s almost as if you could put them all under anesthesia, surgically remove 99% of their brain matter, wake them back up, send them back to work for the EU government, and they would do just as good of a job! It is at times like this that I am thankful my ancestors fought for America’s independence. It’s also a strong reminder that we must resist Codex Alimentarius (and other globalist control nonsense) or else we, too, may end up being told that water is medically useless. Heck, the FDA already arrests people for selling raw milk . I guess old people should only be hydrated with intravenous drips, huh? Sure would be good business for the brain-dead medical industry across the EU, which is looking for something important to do before they release the next pandemic and call for a national vaccine mandate. I wonder if they will pull water fountains out of the public schools now? Will there now be public service announcements across Europe that urge moms to stop allowing their children to drink water? Nowhere on this planet are more good people ruled by more complete idiots than in the European Union, where two plus two now equals five, and water is no longer recognized as a way to hydrate the human body. Interestingly, the total idiocy of EU bureaucrats is about to collide with the laws of mathematics as the region’s finances implode. Governments can lie about water, and they can lie about debt for a little while, but sooner or later, the laws of the universe catch up with you and the deniers are all exposed as fools or criminals (or both). I for one think we should take all these EFSA boneheads and EU droolocrats and air-drop them butt-naked into the Death Valley Desert of North America, where they can rethink their opinion on whether water prevents dehydration. Occupy GMOs: Protesters block access to manufacturing plant filled with animal ‘Frankenfeed’

The company’s more than 200 employees have been unable to come to work for some time now, which means that production has stopped at the plant, and its offices remain empty. Most of Europe is staunchly opposed to GMOs in general, which is why they are hardly ever sold there, and why they must be properly labeled if they are. But GMOs have been furtively making their way into the European food supply via animal feed, which is often laced with GM soy, corn, and other contaminated ingredients thanks to labeling loopholes that permit “non-GMO” livestock to consume GM feed. So to push authorities in France to take a stand against this deceitful practice, a group of concerned individuals decided to storm the Glon Sanders factory, which they reportedly felt was the perfect place to make their voices heard. “Sanders, a subsidiary of Sofiproteol chaired by Xavier Beulin (also president of the FNSEA), is a strategic location to make an act of denial of the use of GMOs in agriculture, particularly in animal feed,” said the group in a translated quote from Maville.com, a French paper. Both the cultivation and consumption of GM soy are linked to a host of environmental and human health problems. I personally enjoy teff sprouts and alfalfa sprouts the most. For me, radish sprouts and broccoli sprouts are way too intense and sharp in their taste. I would only use them sparingly. Mung bean sprouts are great for stir-fry dishes, but of course at that point they are no longer raw and living. Group pushes for regulation of toxic chemicals in EU

(NaturalNews) ChemSec is lobbying the European Union to ban more toxic chemicals from plastics and cosmetics. Some toxins from children’s toys and implements have been banned there and in the USA. But since then, further research has demonstrated hormonal disruption from long term low level exposure to other toxins in many other products. Yet little is done about it. About Toxins in Plastic Materials The toxic chemical compounds used in plastics are known as phthalates. Phthalates are now understood as emdocrine disrupters, causing unusual sexual development, infertility, and cancer. There are many phthalate variations used in almost all industrial processes. A billion pounds of phthalates are produced annually. Plastic is the most common item containing phthalates. Different phthalates are used according to the level of plasticity desired. But they’re also used in oils, vinyl items, lacquers, and cosmetics. Up until the year 2000, most toxicological research was focused on levels concerned with immediate and strong toxic results. So in the late 1990s, DEHP, DBP, and BBP phthalates were banned from toys for children under 12 and child care, e.g. teething rings, for children under three. But there are groups that resist recommended changes and have more of an inside track to higher government bodies and officials than either the EPA scientists or ChemSec. These other groups are well funded by the chemical industries and headed by former government agency insiders. SerratioPeptidase is a potent anti-inflammatory enzyme

(NaturalNews) Proteolytic enzymes are specific enzymes that metabolize protein. These enzymes are naturally produced by the human body and other living organisms and help carry out essential functions. Supplementing with these enzymes has shown to have a favorable anti-inflammatory effect on the tissues of the body. A unique enzyme named serratiopeptidase is now emerging as one of the most potent anti-inflammatory supplements. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme isolated from a non-pathogenic bacteria called enterobacteria Serratia E15. This enzyme makes its inhabitants in the intestine of the silkworm. The most common pain-reducing aids are aspirin, ibuprofen and acetaminophen, which are called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID`s). These drugs are known to deplete renal and hepatic glutathione and to deplete the body of critical B vitamins and trace minerals leading to stomach, kidney, liver and heart problems. A 2008 study compared Serratiopeptidase and its anti-inflammatory activity with 2 human pancreatic proteolytic enzymes (trypsin and chymotrypsin) and aspirin. Although all groups were effective at reducing inflammation, serratiopeptidase was the most effective. (6) It was also proven to be effective at reducing swelling and pain intensity in individuals with carpel tunnel and sprained ankles.(7-8) Other studies have shown similar anti-inflammatory effects after oral surgery was performed.(9) A 2006 study looked at the role serratiopeptidase has on improving immunity. This experimental animal study involved implanting a biofilm-forming bacteria (Staphylococcus epidermis) into a group of rats. The group given serratiopeptidase was highly effective at eliminating this infection. The researchers credited the antibiofilm properties of this specific enzyme as being the key factor. Radiation is Already Killing Babies

(NaturalNews) Newborn babies are the most vulnerable of all beings. Vulnerability says it all when it comes to a newborn infant. Children deserve the best medical treatment from the best form of medicine human intelligence can implement but what they get is governmental interference and neglect. What do medical officials really care when a baby dies from vaccine complications? What do FDA officials do to block out the guilt and pain of knowing that they caused a lifetime of suffering for a young child when they allow dental mercury amalgam (toxic waste dumps) to be put right in their mouths? Do they care about peoples’ iodine deficiencies that leave them more vulnerable to the radioactive iodine from Fukushima? Do they care about the wreck and ruin in millions of peoples’ lives suffering from the toxicity of fluoride deliberately put in the public’s drinking water supplies? And do you honestly think they are going to care about babies dying and fetuses being underweight from the radiation exposure coming over the Pacific to the west coast of the United States and Canada? But now we have very disturbing reports about a 35% spike in infant mortality in Northwest cities since the meltdown in Fukushima. Dr. Janette Sherman and Joseph Mangano wrote: “U.S. babies are dying at an increased rate. The recent CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report indicates that eight cities in the northwest U.S. (Boise ID, Seattle WA, Portland OR plus the northern California cities of Santa Cruz, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose and Berkeley) reported the following data on deaths among those younger than one year of age: “4 weeks ending March 19, 2011: 37 deaths (avg. 9.25 per week) 10 weeks ending May 28, 2011: 125 deaths (avg. 12.50 per week)” “This amounts to an increase of 35% (the total for the entire U.S. rose about 2.3%), and is statistically significant. Of further significance is that those dates include the four weeks before and the ten weeks after the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster. In 2001 the infant mortality was 6.834 per 1000 live births, increasing to 6.845 in 2007. All years from 2002 to 2007 were higher than the 2001 rate.” The Most Vulnerable Infants and pregnant women are most at risk. Doctors Alexey V. Yablokov, Vassily B. Nesterenko, and Alexey V. Nesterenko say, “When children have the same menu as adults, they get up to five times higher (radiation) dose burdens from locally produced foodstuffs because of their lower weight and more active processes of metabolism.” “It is well known that women are more susceptible — approximately twice as susceptible, or worse — to radiation’s harmful effects than men who get the same dose. Young people are more susceptible than old. Young children are perhaps ten times as susceptible to radiation’s dangers as adults are, because their cells are dividing and establishing themselves. The cells of some organs will continue to divide; but cells such as neurons and heart muscle cells stop dividing at adulthood. Cancer can also get established at this early stage. Cancer usually requires a long sequence of cell changes to occur — often 10 or 12 or more changes in the cell DNA’s structure will have to occur, which can take many years,” writes Ace Hoffman. Hoffman continues saying, “Infants are even more susceptible than young children. Newborns, preemies… immune-challenged… even more so. Since Fukushima, our babies are dying at a significantly increased rate on the west coast of the United States (see article below). Across the country deaths are up as well, though not as much (ibid). Fetuses vary from “infinitely” more susceptible to radiation’s dangers, to thousands of times more when they are very small, to “merely” hundreds of times more as they grow, to whatever they are at birth — no one knows precisely.” You just imagine the masses wondering how any of this can be true. How can babies die from nuclear radiation that is supposedly the safe low-level stuff that the government and media say could not harm a fly. A. V. Yablokov, V. B., Nesterenko and A. V. Nesterenko, published by the New York Academy of Sciences in 2009. ” Data from Chernobyl , which exploded 25 years ago, clearly shows increased numbers of sick and weak newborns and increased numbers of deaths in the unborn and newborns, especially soon after the meltdown . These occurred in Europe as well as the former Soviet Union. Similar findings are also seen in wildlife living in areas with increased radioactive fallout levels.” Protect the Children, What Are You Waiting For? Should the public discover the true health costs of nuclear pollution, a cry would rise from all parts of the world and people would refuse to cooperate passively with their own death. Dr. Rosalie Bertell There are many alarming trends in pediatric care, not the least of which is increasing radiation exposure. It is now estimated that that the average child will get more than seven radiation scans by age 18 and this does not include dental X-rays. Most alarming is the increasing use of CT scans, which entail far more radiation and can raise the risk for cancer in children. X-rays of the chest, hands and feet are the most common. Forty-two percent of children had at least one radiation procedure and 25 percent had two or more during the three-year study period. Eight percent of the children got at least one CT scan, and more than three percent of children got two or more. What we can do to save our children after they have been exposed to radiation is the most important thing a parent can learn at this point in time. We must acquire this knowledge before we or our children have been exposed, but now it’s already too late for that for a great number of people in the northern hemisphere. Heavy Metal and Particle Vulnerability Children are more vulnerable to the dangers of toxic chemicals than are adults , according to Herbert L. Needleman, M.D. and Philip J. Landrigan, M.D., authors of Raising Children Toxic Free . According to a study released in October 2004, conducted by the University of North Carolina, 21 percent of women of childbearing age have mercury levels in their hair that exceeds federal health standards. That is up from eight percent in just four years using a recent CDC study as a reference point. Under United States guidelines, 79 percent of Inuvik women of childbearing age have unsafe levels of mercury. Earlier this year, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a directive warning women of childbearing age to eat no more than two meals or 12 ounces of seafood, including canned tuna, weekly. The life period with the highest adaptability and vulnerability to environmental factors: the period inside the womb. Dr. Sandra Steingraber describes the particular vulnerability of children when it comes to mercury poisoning: “The placenta, which works well to bar pathogens from entering the womb, does a terrible job of keeping methylmercury out. In fact, the placenta actively pumps mercury into the fetal capillaries as though it were a precious molecule of calcium or iodine. This is why levels of mercury in the blood of a newborn typically exceed those of its mother by 70 percent. When confronted with methylmercury, the placenta functions more like a magnifying glass than a barrier. Once inside the fetal blood supply, mercury is carried to the fetal brain where it interferes with brain cell migration. Just as a spider can lower itself from the ceiling by reeling out a single strand of silk, a fetal brain cell moves from the center of the brain to the surface by rappelling along its own fiber. This process of brain cell migration begins in earnest during month four of pregnancy and continues after birth at least through the age of two. Methylmercury paralyzes migrating brain cells and thus interferes with their movement from center to surface. Methylmercury also halts cell division in the fetal brain by binding directly to neural chromosomes. The cerebellum — center of balance and coordination — is a special target of methylmercury. Prenatal exposures to methylmercury have also been linked to deficits in memory, learning, and attention span that persist into adolescence and appear irreversible. In short, human fetuses are more vulnerable than adults to the brain-addling powers of mercury for two immutable reasons: They receive a comparatively bigger exposure (because of the placenta’s concentrating powers), and their brain cells need to move and multiply.” A U.S. Environmental Protection Agency biochemist, Kathryn Mahaffey, estimates that one in six pregnant women in the United States had high enough blood mercury to damage her child, for a total of 630,000 U.S. newborns at risk . This was the first study to calculate the numbers based on children’s blood levels, not the mother’s blood. The new formula showed that one in six pregnant women had mercury levels in their blood of at least 3.5 parts per billion, sufficient for levels in the fetus to reach or surpass the EPA safety threshold of 5.8 parts per billion. In 1999-2000, the last year for which government data is available, this meant that 630,000 children were at risk instead of the original estimate of 320,000. According to Dr. Sandra Steingraber, “The EPA has taken pains not to adopt the 630,000 figure as its official position. Calculated by EPA scientist Kathryn Mahaffey, these new estimates were published in Environmental Health Perspectives , April 2004. Children are more vulnerable than adults to oxidative stress due to their naturally low glutathione levels from conception through infancy. Scientists push to implement edible RFID tracking chips in food

(NaturalNews) It will monitor your calorie intake, show from where your food was sourced, and even let you know when the food in your fridge is about to go bad — these are some of the enticing claims made by the developers of a new system that embeds edible radio frequency identification (RFID) chips directly into food. Its creators insist the technology will revolutionize the way humans eat for the better, but critical-thinking onlookers will recognize the ploy as just another way to track and control human behavior. Developed by Hannes Harms from the Royal College of Art in London, the “NutriSmart” system is based on the idea that RFID wafers injected directly into food can help better track the food supply chain, further automate the supermarket shopping experience, and simplify the eating experience by programming data into food so that humans essentially do not have to think about what they are doing. The technology makes both eating and dealing with food in general mindless, as a person simply needs to plop an RFID-embedded food item onto a special RFID-laced plate, which then tells the person all about the item and how much of it to eat. RFID ovens and microwaves also eliminate having to think about how long to cook an RFID food item — simply put it in the RFID microwave, oven, or toaster, and the machine will know exactly how long to cook the item. As interesting and novel as this might sound, such technology is actually quite frightening when taken to its logical ends. Australia shuns GM canola in response to consumer demand for non-GMO products

(NaturalNews) The biotechnology industry and its lackeys in the US government may be getting away with pulling a fast one on the American people, but citizens across Europe and in Australia continue to resist the onslaught of genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) in their food supply. A recent report from Gene Ethics Media (GEM) explains that two of Australia’s largest grain traders are refusing to deal with any GM canola this year, citing intense and increasing consumer opposition to GM grains. Europeans import much of their canola from Australia, a country that for years had unilaterally held a non-GMO policy for canola. After all, virtually nobody from the countries to whom Australia exports its grains wants GM canola, and this has naturally created market conditions in which canola growers have voluntarily chosen to stick with non-GM and organic varieties. “This market is a bonanza for the majority of Australian grain growers who wisely stayed with non-GM canola varieties,” said Bob Phelps, Director of GEM. “Ninety-five percent of Western Australia’s canola sold to Europe last year and strong demand is expected to continue, but only for non-GM. European shoppers have zero tolerance for GM canola.” Most Australian states currently have a ban on GM canola, with the major exception of Western Australia (WA). Terry Redman, Agriculture Minister of WA, recently lifted the ban on GM canola, despite the fact that nearly all farmers and shoppers oppose the crop. Redman, of course, also tried to dilute organic standards in Australia after it was found out that a GM canola crop field had contaminated an organic crop field, which caused the organic farmer to lose his organic certification status (http://www.naturalnews.com/030851_Monsanto_GMOs.html). Phelps is urging all Australian states to maintain or retain their non-GMO statuses because there is no effective way to prevent non-GMO and organic crops from being contaminated by GMOs — they simply cannot coexist together. But states like WA will have to make that decision now, and completely block all future GM plantings. “GM canola segregation has failed everywhere it has been tried. After only one year of commercial GM canola in WA there is still time to become GM-free again,” said Phelps. “South Australia, Tasmania, the ACT and Northern Territory have retained their GM-free policies and other states should again ban polluting GM canola, for marketing reasons.
