Physicist Stephen Hawking denounced for believing human beings are biological robots with no consciousness or free will

(NaturalNews) Behind every madman, there is a distorted philosophy that denies people their humanity, says Mike Adams, creator of the new mini-documentary “The God Within,” available now on NaturalNews.TV. This documentary deconstructs the core philosophies underpinning modern scientific thinking, unveiling the frightening fact that most modern scientists do not believe human beings have free will, a soul, or even anything resembling consciousness. The first 22 minutes of the mini-documentary are available for viewing right now at: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=E3B38227225F9FC62BAEA9CC81BE1D12 Hawking: Godless, mindless, soulless and hopeless In “The God Within,” Adams takes aim at famed physicist Stephen Hawking, author of the book “The Grand Design.” In that book, Hawking claims that human beings are merely “biological machines” with no consciousness, no souls, no spirit, no mind and nothing but a collection of organized chemicals that run physical brains in a deterministic machine-like way. This belief, says filmmaker Mike Adams, also the editor of NaturalNews.com, is a dangerous pretext for the “scientific” experimentation on human beings because it fails to recognize the value of life, free will or conscious experience. In the name of “medical science,” outrageous horrors have been committed against humanity. President Obama recently apologized to Guatemala for the U.S. government’s involvement in illegal and inhumane medical experiments conducted on psychiatric patients in that country. The true history of human medical experiments — all carried out in the name of “science” — is quite frightening and spans hundreds of years, involving the lives of tens of thousands of innocent victims of “scientific medicine.” Medical experiments on humans and animals are widely conducted under the assumption that both people and animals have no consciousness, thus their screams of pain are merely “biological reactions” that represent no actual suffering or “real” experience. This has been the core philosophy of science and medicine traced back through centuries — a kind of pathological detachment from reality. As Adams presents in The God Within, the idea that human beings are mere biological robots with no consciousness or free will is the perfect pretext for genocidal crimes carried out against innocent people in the name of science. “The fact that modern scientific thinking utterly fails to recognize the existence of consciousness, a mind or a soul helps explain why so much of today’s science is so destructive to life on our planet,” says Adams, who points to GMOs, chemical pesticides, and the psychiatric drugging of children as ready examples of how runaway science has failed to value life. Science has forgotten the all-important trait of empathy, Adams explains, and without empathy there is no mechanism by which scientists can recognize the suffering caused by their GMOs, pesticides, dangerous medications and toxic synthetic chemicals that pollute our world. When so-called “science” is carried out with the goal of increasing corporate profits rather than protecting and improving the experience of life on our planet, it becomes “an agent of destruction,” says Adams. Denounce the mindless, heartless and soulless scientists That’s why he calls for people to denounce the core philosophy of “mindlessness” from which much of modern science springs and, instead, embrace a more advanced understanding of our universe that makes consciousness the focal point of our existence. “If modern science believes that human beings are mere biological robots with no consciousness, then we must really question why we are listening to these scientists at all,” explains Adams, who believes that humans are a combination of mind, body and spirit that exists far beyond the current understanding of the physical sciences. “You are more than your physical brain and body,” Adams insists. “In failing to recognize this simple truth, modern science has failed the most basic test of suitability for furthering the knowledge and wisdom of the human race.” The video is available for viewing at: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=E3B38227225F9FC62BAEA9CC81BE1D12 Part two of the video is being released on May 31, 2011 at www.NaturalNews.TV with announcements posted on www.NaturalNews.com Mike Adams, also known as The Health Ranger, is a writer, researcher, music composer, technology innovator, philosopher, award-winning journalist and alternative media pioneer who reaches over two million readers each month with a message of healing and wisdom that values all life on planet Earth. He has been featured on the cover of the Wall Street Journal and received the Human Rights Award from the Citizens Commission on Human Rights for his outstanding contributions for working to protect life on our planet. General Mills imitation blueberries story keeps spreading; Total cereal exposed as deceptive

(NaturalNews) It’s the story that just keeps going viral. We broke it here on NaturalNews with the release of The Blueberry Deception , a mini documentary that exposed the truth about many name-brand food products that fake their blueberries. You can watch it here: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=7EC06D27B1A945BE85E7DA8483025962 It’s also featured over at www.FoodInvestigations.com Since the release of this video, it has gone viral across the ‘net and picked up hundreds of thousands of views across NaturalNews.TV and YouTube while also breaking into mainstream media . To date, all the following news organizations have now covered this story: Fox News, CNN, The Huffington Post, NPR, MSN, Yahoo News, LA Times, CBS News, NY Daily News and many more. Just two days ago, I was contacted by a reporter from CBS News who was working up a story for CBS News Correspondent Susan Koeppen (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/02/03/earlyshow/contributors/susankoeppen/main7313579.shtml), who even went into a grocery store and filmed a segment talking about the very products I first mentioned in my documentary: Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats Blueberry Muffin, for example, which is made with artificial colors, sugars and oils that mimic the appearance of blueberries. (Kellogg’s says the “Blueberry Muffin” part of the product name is just a description of the “flavor,” not a description of what’s actually in the box.) I didn’t get name credit in this particular story, but CBS News was kind enough to link back to the Consumer Wellness Center (www.ConsumerWellness.org), and that’s all the credit we really need. I’m just happy this story is getting out there. Kudos to the mainstream media outlets who have been covering this story! What’s really interesting is that CBS’s Koeppen has now hinted that this issue is headed to the FDA for review: “Koeppen added the Food and Drug Administration will go after companies if they use deceptive labeling. ‘We talked to them yesterday,’ Koeppen said. ‘They said they can neither confirm nor deny that they’re looking into the fake blueberry issue. But yes, if there is something that is deceptive, the FDA sometimes steps in and makes those companies change their labels.’” Wouldn’t it be interesting of a documentary developed right here at NaturalNews actually ended up rattling the desks of folks at the FDA and General Mills who were forced by public pressure to put a stop to some rather blatantly deceptive processed food marketing practices? The story behind the blueberries story I created this documentary as a volunteer effort under the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center, and have never received any compensation for creating this, by the way (nor do I receive any compensation for any of the videos I create). To this day, I’m shocked that nobody else did this first. I always thought that with such a deceptively labeled product on store shelves, somebody at USA Today, or the NY Times, or the Washington Post would investigate the issue and expose it long before we could. But no. The mainstream media doesn’t really do as much truly investigative journalism as it used to back in the Nixon days. Much of the media today, let’s face it, is focused on entertainment. Explosions. Violence. Teen rock stars. Michael Jackson. It’s junk food for your mind, or at least that’s how it was described to me by a reporter who actually works for the media. To actually see the media dig into a grassroots consumer issue and go up against the processed food industry is quite rare. Hence the need for organizations like NaturalNews. We tackle the stories the mainstream media often ignores. And we do it on a shoestring budget, yet based on solid research, reliable documentation of the facts, and an ever-growing audience of literally millions of readers who are increasingly tuning in to NaturalNews to get health information they can trust. I’m not saying the mainstream media can’t be trusted, but there’s little question that when your network is funded by pharmaceutical money, any story that questions the safety of vaccines (for example), is going to be canned long before it hits the air. But here at NaturalNews, I have no boss . YOU are my boss, effectively, and I can’t be fired by anyone for telling the truth. We only answer to you, the readers, and that’s why you consistently find us reporting the truth, day after day, without any corporate agenda interfering with our work. What will General Mills and Kellogg’s do now? What’s interesting is that now, all of a sudden, the mainstream media is following some of our stories. NaturalNews is driving these stories that end up being replicated across the national media. I have over a dozen emails right now from reporters in major newspapers across the country who want a heads up on our next breaking food investigation story. Think about that for a minute: The consumer health advocate (Health Ranger) that the mainstream media has largely ignored is now all of a sudden one of their sources. So now, I’m walking through the grocery store, and I’m using all the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years to identify all the really crazy chemicals and non-food items being put into the food supply by companies all the way from PepsiCo to Dean Foods. And now I’m making a list of which items are the worst offenders and deserve to be highlighted in the next Food Investigations mini-documentary. Because, of course, there are more mini-documentaries coming soon, and you’ll see them posted at www.FoodInvestigations.com This has put me in the sad, sad situation of actually buying PepsiCo products at the grocery store. But it’s all for research, I assure you. Still, it feels odd to even allow such items into my grocery cart, much less my home! Meanwhile, I haven’t heard a thing from General Mills or Kellogg’s on the imitation blueberries issue. You would think that if these folks had a decent P.R. team, they would reach out and try to “educate” me about their foods and convince me they’re not all that bad after all. But I haven’t heard a thing. I suppose they’re convinced it’s better to just try to ignore this imitation blueberries problem and hope it goes away. But it’s not going away. If anything, the story is spreading and getting more attention. Watch the hilarious new video: General Mills Mind Games And now it’s going to get even more viral with the release of a new comedy video I’ve just put together called General Mills Mind Games . It’s a character voice skit between a customer named “Bob” and the General Mills customer service department. Watch the video now (just 4 minutes) at: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=851519FA1AC72A56F7205D2285CC66CF Please share this video, too, because people need to know this stuff. Entertaining videos really works to educate people while they’re laughing and having fun! Everybody who has seen this 4-minute video loves it! Well, except perhaps for the General Mills public relations team, which appears to be frozen in place on this whole issue, sort of like a deer caught in the headlights. But I guess if you’re a P.R. lackey working for General Mills, the truth about what’s NOT in their cereals kinda sucks, doesn’t it? You can’t exactly spin away the simple truth that the fruits mentioned prominently on the front label of Total Blueberry Pomegranate Cereal aren’t even found in the cereal. I would sure hate to have that job. It’s way more fun to have no boss and be able to tell the truth rather than have to lie for some dishonest corporate employer.
Nobel Prize Winner Luc Montagnier Supports Science of Homeopathy

(NaturalNews) Dr. Luc Montagnier, the French virologist who won the Nobel Prize in 2008 for discovering the AIDS virus, has surprised the scientific community with his strong support for homeopathic medicine. In a remarkable interview published in Science magazine of December 24, 2010, (1) Professor Luc Montagnier, has expressed support for the often maligned and misunderstood medical specialty of homeopathic medicine. Although homeopathy has persisted for 200+ years throughout the world and has been the leading alternative treatment method used by physicians in Europe, (2) most conventional physicians and scientists have expressed skepticism about its efficacy due to the extremely small doses of medicines used. Most clinical research conducted on homeopathic medicines that has been published in peer-review journals have shown positive clinical results,(3, 4) especially in the treatment of respiratory allergies (5, 6), influenza, (7) fibromyalgia, (8, 9) rheumatoid arthritis, (10) childhood diarrhea, (11) post-surgical abdominal surgery recovery, (12) attention deficit disorder, (13) and reduction in the side effects of conventional cancer treatments. (14) In addition to clinical trials, several hundred basic science studies have confirmed the biological activity of homeopathic medicines. One type of basic science trials, called in vitro studies, found 67 experiments (1/3 of them replications) and nearly 3/4 of all replications were positive. (15, 16) In addition to the wide variety of basic science evidence and clinical research, further evidence for homeopathy resides in the fact that they gained widespread popularity in the U.S. and Europe during the 19th century due to the impressive results people experienced in the treatment of epidemics that raged during that time, including cholera, typhoid, yellow fever, scarlet fever, and influenza. Montagnier, who is also founder and president of the World Foundation for AIDS Research and Prevention, asserted, “I can’t say that homeopathy is right in everything. What I can say now is that the high dilutions (used in homeopathy) are right. High dilutions of something are not nothing. They are water structures which mimic the original molecules.” Here, Montagnier is making reference to his experimental research that confirms one of the controversial features of homeopathic medicine that uses doses of substances that undergo sequential dilution with vigorous shaking in-between each dilution. Although it is common for modern-day scientists to assume that none of the original molecules remain in solution, Montagnier’s research (and other of many of his colleagues) has verified that electromagnetic signals of the original medicine remains in the water and has dramatic biological effects. Montagnier has just taken a new position at Jiaotong University in Shanghai, China (this university is often referred to as “China’s MIT”), where he will work in a new institute bearing his name. This work focuses on a new scientific movement at the crossroads of physics, biology, and medicine: the phenomenon of electromagnetic waves produced by DNA in water. He and his team will study both the theoretical basis and the possible applications in medicine. Montagnier’s new research is investigating the electromagnetic waves that he says emanate from the highly diluted DNA of various pathogens. Montagnier asserts, “What we have found is that DNA produces structural changes in water, which persist at very high dilutions, and which lead to resonant electromagnetic signals that we can measure. Not all DNA produces signals that we can detect with our device. The high-intensity signals come from bacterial and viral DNA.” Montagnier affirms that these new observations will lead to novel treatments for many common chronic diseases, including but not limited to autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. Montagnier first wrote about his findings in 2009, (17) and then, in mid-2010, he spoke at a prestigious meeting of fellow Nobelists where he expressed interest in homeopathy and the implications of this system of medicine. (18) French retirement laws do not allow Montagnier, who is 78 years of age, to work at a public institute, thereby limiting access to research funding. Montagnier acknowledges that getting research funds from Big Pharma and certain other conventional research funding agencies is unlikely due to the atmosphere of antagonism to homeopathy and natural treatment options. Support from Another Nobel Prize winner Montagnier’s new research evokes memories one of the most sensational stories in French science, often referred to as the ‘Benveniste affair.’ A highly respected immunologist Dr. Jacques Benveniste., who died in 2004, conducted a study which was replicated in three other university laboratories and that was published in Nature (19). Benveniste and other researchers used extremely diluted doses of substances that created an effect on a type of white blood cell called basophils. Although Benveniste’s work was supposedly debunked, (20) Montagnier considers Benveniste a “modern Galileo” who was far ahead of his day and time and who was attacked for investigating a medical and scientific subject that orthodoxy had mistakenly overlooked and even demonized. In addition to Benveniste and Montagnier is the weighty opinion of Brian Josephson, Ph.D., who, like Montagnier, is a Nobel Prize-winning scientist. Responding to an article on homeopathy in New Scientist , Josephson wrote: Regarding your comments on claims made for homeopathy: criticisms centered around the vanishingly small number of solute molecules present in a solution after it has been repeatedly diluted are beside the point, since advocates of homeopathic remedies attribute their effects not to molecules present in the water, but to modifications of the water’s structure. Simple-minded analysis may suggest that water, being a fluid, cannot have a structure of the kind that such a picture would demand. But cases such as that of liquid crystals, which while flowing like an ordinary fluid can maintain an ordered structure over macroscopic distances, show the limitations of such ways of thinking. There have not, to the best of my knowledge, been any refutations of homeopathy that remain valid after this particular point is taken into account. A related topic is the phenomenon, claimed by Jacques Benveniste’s colleague Yolene Thomas and by others to be well established experimentally, known as “memory of water.” If valid, this would be of greater significance than homeopathy itself, and it attests to the limited vision of the modern scientific community that, far from hastening to test such claims, the only response has been to dismiss them out of hand. (21) Following his comments Josephson, who is an emeritus professor of Cambridge University in England, was asked by New Scientist editors how he became an advocate of unconventional ideas. He responded: I went to a conference where the French immunologist Jacques Benveniste was talking for the first time about his discovery that water has a ‘memory’ of compounds that were once dissolved in it — which might explain how homeopathy works. His findings provoked irrationally strong reactions from scientists, and I was struck by how badly he was treated. (22) Josephson went on to describe how many scientists today suffer from “pathological disbelief;” that is, they maintain an unscientific attitude that is embodied by the statement “even if it were true I wouldn’t believe it.” Even more recently, Josephson wryly responded to the chronic ignorance of homeopathy by its skeptics saying, “The idea that water can have a memory can be readily refuted by any one of a number of easily understood, invalid arguments.” In the new interview in Science , Montagnier also expressed real concern about the unscientific atmosphere that presently exists on certain unconventional subjects such as homeopathy, “I am told that some people have reproduced Benveniste’s results, but they are afraid to publish it because of the intellectual terror from people who don’t understand it.” Montagnier concluded the interview when asked if he is concerned that he is drifting into pseudoscience, he replied adamantly: “No, because it’s not pseudoscience. It’s not quackery. These are real phenomena which deserve further study.” The Misinformation That Skeptics Spread It is remarkable enough that many skeptics of homeopathy actually say that there is “no research” that has shows that homeopathic medicines work. Such statements are clearly false, and yet, such assertions are common on the Internet and even in some peer-review articles. Just a little bit of searching can uncover many high quality studies that have been published in highly respected medical and scientific journals, including the Lancet , BMJ , Pediatrics , Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal , Chest and many others. Although some of these same journals have also published research with negative results to homeopathy, there is simply much more research that shows a positive rather than negative effect. Misstatements and misinformation on homeopathy are predictable because this system of medicine provides a viable and significant threat to economic interests in medicine, let alone to the very philosophy and worldview of biomedicine. It is therefore not surprising that the British Medical Association had the sheer audacity to refer to homeopathy as “witchcraft.” It is quite predictable that when one goes on a witch hunt, one inevitable finds “witches,” especially when there are certain benefits to demonizing a potential competitor (homeopathy plays a much larger and more competitive role in Europe than it does in the USA). Skeptics of homeopathy also have long asserted that homeopathic medicines have “nothing” in them because they are diluted too much. However, new research conducted at the respected Indian Institutes of Technology has confirmed the presence of “nanoparticles” of the starting materials even at extremely high dilutions. Researchers have demonstrated by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), electron diffraction and chemical analysis by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), the presence of physical entities in these extreme dilutions. (24) In the light of this research, it can now be asserted that anyone who says or suggests that there is “nothing” in homeopathic medicines is either simply uninformed or is not being honest. Because the researchers received confirmation of the existence of nanoparticles at two different homeopathic high potencies (30C and 200C) and because they tested four different medicines (Zincum met./zinc; Aurum met. /gold; Stannum met./tin; and Cuprum met./copper), the researchers concluded that this study provides “concrete evidence.” Although skeptics of homeopathy may assume that homeopathic doses are still too small to have any biological action, such assumptions have also been proven wrong. The multi-disciplinary field of small dose effects is called “hormesis,” and approximately 1,000 studies from a wide variety of scientific specialties have confirmed significant and sometimes substantial biological effects from extremely small doses of certain substances on certain biological systems. A special issue of the peer-review journal, Human and Experimental Toxicology (July 2010), devoted itself to the interface between hormesis and homeopathy. (25) The articles in this issue verify the power of homeopathic doses of various substances. In closing, it should be noted that skepticism of any subject is important to the evolution of science and medicine. However, as noted above by Nobelist Brian Josephson, many scientists have a “pathological disbelief” in certain subjects that ultimately create an unhealthy and unscientific attitude blocks real truth and real science. Skepticism is at its best when its advocates do not try to cut off research or close down conversation of a subject but instead explore possible new (or old) ways to understand and verify strange but compelling phenomena. We all have this challenge as we explore and evaluate the biological and clinical effects of homeopathic medicines. Doctors in training taught to physically violate unconscious patients (explicit)

(NaturalNews) Warning: Explicit language. We apologize for the extremely explicit nature of this story, but we feel that publishing this truth, no matter how repulsive, is in the public interest and serves the greater purpose of informing patients about what can happen to them while under sedation at hospitals. Do NOT read this article if you are easily offended, grossed out or otherwise disturbed by explicit language in a medical context. The information contained in this report is NOT appropriate for children. It is, however, true. This is not a hoax. Now for the story: If you’re undergoing surgery at the hospital, you might want to have a secret nanny cam nearby to record what goes on, because it turns out that unconscious patients are being physically violated by medical students as part of their “medical training.” In a shocking report first published by Madison (http://madisonmag.com.au/news/no-consent-patients-probed-by-medical-students.htm), anesthetized patients in Australia were, without their knowledge or consent, repeatedly subjected to genital, anal and breast examinations by medical students. In one case, a man who was under anesthesia for spinal surgery was subjected to “a queue of medical students” performing practice rectal examinations . One of the medical students who participated in this outrageous act later confessed, “I was [there], the patient was under a spinal [anesthetic] as well and there was a screen up and they just had a queue of medical students doing a rectal examination. He wasn’t consented but because… you’re in that situation, you don’t have the confidence to say ‘no’ you just do it.” Details of this outrageous abuse of patient privacy will soon be published in the journal Medical Education (http://www.wiley.com/bw/journal.asp?ref=0308-0110). The entire student body was in my rectum? You really have to wonder what this poor patient thought when he woke up from surgery with a sore rectum that had been sodomized by a group of medical students while he was unconscious. He may have awoken, realized something was terribly wrong, and thought to himself, in all seriousness, “Did I just get ass-raped by my surgeon?” The answer, of course, is YES! In fact, he got ass-raped by a whole queue of medical students practicing to become doctors. Because there’s no better way to train would-be doctors how to dehumanize and exploit patients in the future than to set medical examples of the physical violation of innocent patients today. It sets the proper tone in the minds of medical students for pushing vaccines, chemotherapy, pharmaceuticals and other dangerous medical procedures that harm hundreds of millions of people each year around the world. I suppose their thinking goes something like this: If a medical student is willing to sodomize an unconscious patient just because his instructor tells him to, there’s probably nothing he won’t do to people in the future as long as he is instructed by proper “authorities” (medical journals, drug companies, government officials, etc.). The things doctors do when pressured by their peers It also carries the powerful hidden message that patients exist to be exploited by you, the doctor, in whatever way you wish , without their knowledge or consent. Note, too, that when faced by peer pressure, most medical students just go along with whatever they’re ordered to do, regardless of whether it violates a person’s rights, or medical ethics, or even federal law. As documented in this particular study, 82 percent of medical students essentially ass-raped an unconscious patient after being instructed to do so by their medical instructor. Lest you think the term “ass-rape” is inappropriate in this situation, keep in mind that the term is defined by Wiktionary as “The act of forcing anal sex upon another person, without their consent and / or against their will.” (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ass-rape) Anal sex, furthermore, is defined in one context as “fingering another person’s anus,” and given that these medical students were fingering the anuses of unconscious patients , what we have here, by any reasonable definition, is a clear-cut case of anal raping of patients by medical students. (By the way, if you’ve read this far, please remember that I included the EXPLICIT warning at the top of this article for a reason. Again, I apologize for the explicit nature of this article and I wish such events were not even taking place in our world.) Some medical students held their ground and said NO The study mentioned here documented the behavior of 200 medical students in Britain and Australia. Not all the students went along with the anal violation of unconscious patients, by the way. In one case, a student refused to participate in what he described as a woman “spread-eagled on the bed and the nurse is pulling down her jeans at the same time and it was all very complicated and you could see her, she was about seventeen.” Apparently, modern-day medical instructors think that stripping down a 17-year-old girl, naked and spread eagle, while parading a “train” of medical students to perform who-knows-what medical examinations on her is totally okay! I don’t know about you, but to me this sadly sounds a lot more like a college fraternity gang rape than any legitimate medical procedure. And it’s being undertaken by our future physicians who are studying conventional medicine. But hey, if they don’t make it through medical school, they can always get a job working for the TSA , where probing someone’s genitals without their consent is part of the official job description. Training doctors to treat human beings like animals What does all this tell you about the ethics of modern medicine? These doctors are the same people who tell you to vaccinate your children; to treat your cancer with chemotherapy; to take statin drugs and to staple your stomach in order to lose weight. These are the monsters of our medical system — the ethically deficient and criminally-minded medical molesters who commit heinous acts of what can only be called medical violence against teenage girls and unconscious men and women who are under their “care.” When you go in to get elective surgery for a serious medical problem such as colon cancer, you don’t expect to have your rectum paraded on display as a teaching aid for a group of students who each get to finger your rectum before they cut it out. Seriously, this is what one of the medical students actually said about this: “If you’re having your anus cut out then having someone’s finger put in it anyway, I just thought was an irrelevance basically so I have no qualms what[so]ever about not having specifically consented her to allow me to do a rectal examination.” This is what really goes on behind closed doors, under the surgical blankets and behind the screens, where innocent patients are sodomized, victimized and actually raped by their health care providers. And this isn’t just one isolated case, either… it’s how medical students are being TRAINED as part of their medical education! This isn’t a rogue pervert physician, in other words: It’s an institutionalized psychopathic power trip that hints at the way conventional medicine is carried out right now, all across the world. It reminds me of the Milgram experiments where students were very easily trained to apply deadly levels of electroshock jolts to innocent victims merely because they were ordered to do so by an instructor (http://www.naturalnews.com/025141.html). Those experiments proved that 70 percent of people will torture other human beings if encouraged to do so by someone in an apparent position of authority. So if you ever undergo surgery, and you wake up with a throbbing rectum or obvious physical abuse of other body parts, it’s probably not just in your head: You may have been victimized by medical students or physicians who think there’s absolutely nothing wrong with exploiting your body for their own purposes while you’re unconscious. Your disease is their treatment experiment. Your suffering is their amusement. Your rectum is their training aid. You are there essentially to be treated like an unconscious rag doll by medical staff and medical students who have lost any and all sense of the meaning behind the term “health care.” These are despicable people, and the fact that they are tomorrow’s doctors helps explain why health care is such an utter failure on every level: Physical, ethical and spiritual. Now for the good news The good news in all this, if there can be any found, is that an increasing number of younger medical students are actually embracing complementary medicine. They are increasingly questioning the old, outmoded mythologies behind pharmaceuticals, vaccines and chemotherapy, and they’re learning the importance of using holistic healing methods to support patients rather than poison them. Not all conventional doctors are ass-raping psychopaths, in other words. There are good doctors among the bad ones, and there are even conventional doctors who actually have ethics and would never even think of violating patients in such a way. Some doctors even manage to make it through medical school without losing their moral compass, if you can believe that, and we should respect those who do. Many doctors deserve tremendous credit for their miraculous work in emergency rooms, saving lives and treating acute injuries with remarkable skill and efficiency. Conventional medicine has an important (limited) role to play in society, and there are times when rectal exams are, of course, medically necessary. But when conducted, they should be done with consent unless special circumstances exist such as an unconscious gunshot victim needing acute emergency care that requires immediate action on the part of doctors and surgeons. There’s more good news in all this: The era of Big Pharma medicine is crumbling. The mythology behind vaccines is being increasingly exposed as quackery and fraud. The insanity of harmful mammograms and unnecessary surgical procedures is also being increasingly reported. Times are changing , and conventional medicine is resorting to outright desperation to keep itself in business at a time when most people are heading in the direction of holistic medicine based on patient compassion and understanding . I bet you won’t see naturopathic physicians (N.D.s) ass-raping their patients. NDs, homeopaths, herbalists and massage therapists are usually compassionate, caring individuals who respect their patients as real human beings . They honor your boundaries and they practice the healing arts with a genuine sense of ethics that’s too often lacking in the world of conventional medicine. Remember: You have power in all this. When faced with any kind of health or medical situation, you always have a choice of where to spend your dollars. I encourage you to avoid choosing conventional doctors and their superbug-infested hospitals. Wherever possible, choose naturopathic health care offered by compassionate and sensitive health professionals who treat you like a valued human being and respect your boundaries. And if you’re forced to go into a conventional hospital for one reason or another, duct tape your butt cheeks together just to be sure no one goes in there. Put a sticker on the tape that reads, “Warranty void if seal broken,” and point out to your surgeon that your rectum is off limits to him, his staff and his students. Make him sign a piece of paper that says, “I will not ass-rape my patients.” They make you sign a pile of paperwork, after all. Have a few documents of your own for them to sign for a change. That paperwork might include valuable tidbits such as, “The foot to amputate is on the LEFT. The foot to leave alone is on the RIGHT. The entire anal-rectal area is entirely off limits and don’t play with my breasts while I’m unconscious.” This is really happening I wish I were making up this story. I wish it were fiction, but sadly it’s reality. After writing about health and medicine for nearly 8 years, there’s nothing I’ve seen that surprises me anymore. To hear that medical students are being trained as a group to sodomize unconscious patients isn’t actually the worst thing I’ve heard about conventional medicine. They do far worse things to children with psychiatric drugs, and to cancer patients via chemotherapy poisons. The widespread vaccination of children with utterly horrifying chemical ingredients that are injected into their bodies is yet another true story of the harm routinely caused by conventional medicine. The good news, of course, is that I believe this era of medical violence against children and adults — which I call the Dark Ages of medicine — is crumbling by the day. The tide is rapidly shifting, and there will be a day in the near future when Big Pharma CEOs spend their days in prison, when ass-raping surgeons are convicted of their crimes, and when vaccines are rejected by the vast majority of people who come to realize the truth about how harmful they really are. Things really are going to get better in the years ahead. And I hope to be part of bringing you that good news here on NaturalNews.com. Again, I apologize for the explicit language in this article, but I hope you agree that the seriousness of the facts warrant publication. If we refuse to talk about what’s really happening behind closed doors in our hospitals and clinics, then we fail to prevent it from happening to other victims in the future. (NaturalNews) It’s one of the biggest underground secrets of the medical world: Cancer can be cured . In fact, the human body already knows how to cure cancer; it merely needs to be activated in the proper way (because your genetic code contains built-in cancer cure instructions) and then given the proper resources to heal itself in a non-toxic internal environment. No doctor can cure you of cancer . Your body can only cure itself. And to teach you how to activate your body’s innate cancer healing potential, we’re bringing you a one-time, LIVE uncensored webcast event called ” Cancer Experts Speak Out ” that isn’t censored by the FDA, FTC, FCC or any other government agency that doesn’t like the truth to be told about cancer. This one-time-only webcast event is being held Saturday, February 5, at Noon (Pacific) / 3pm (Eastern) . It runs just under two hours in all. Let the truth about cancer be told! Two extremely well-informed doctors give cancer patients new hope (and new knowledge) This event features two courageous and outspoken holistic medical professionals who are putting their careers on the line to bring you the uncensored truth about natural approaches to cancer: Dr Richard Linchitz, M.D. (www.LinchitzWellness.com) and Dr Nicholas Gonzalez, M.D. (www.Dr-Gonzalez.com). You are encouraged to share the event with family, friends and anyone suffering from cancer that you think may benefit from this information. There are absolutely NO products being sold during the event. This is not an infomercial. This is a LIVE presentation and discussion that’s 100% focused on cancer solutions for real people who need real help right now. While the doctors presenting this event may recommend certain nutritional products based on their experience of what works, they do not have any financial ties to the products being discussed on the show . Facts about cancer • According to the National Cancer Institute, 1.4 million people were diagnosed with cancer in 2009. • 560,000 Americans died of cancer in 2009! • The conventional cancer industry is a failure! It does not produce cures. It does not help people get healthy. • Most cancers that are put into “remission” through chemotherapy come back within five years and are largely fatal the second time around. • Cancer doctors use dishonest fear tactics to scare people into extremely dangerous treatments such as chemotherapy and mastectomies. Do not let fear push you into a dangerous decision . Get the facts first! Invest a couple hours of your time to hear the positive side of this discussion and learn why your body already has the knowledge (and the technology) to cure cancer on its own! A new measure of intelligence: Big-picture thinking trumps narrow-minded expertise

(NaturalNews) Observing the various realms of science, medicine, experts and world events, I’ve come to the conclusion that our modern definition of “intelligence” (IQ) is seriously lacking. The label of “high IQ” is typically assigned to those who are experts in narrowly-defined fields such as disease pathology, pharmacology, particle physics, mathematics or other so-called “hard science” areas. And yet, it’s not uncommon to see a high-level mathematics professor with an IQ of 175 chowing down on a processed hamburger laced with toxic chemical additives, while wearing clothes washed in carcinogenic mainstream laundry detergent. The professor may be brilliant in mathematics, in other words, but he’s unknowingly bathing his entire body in cancer-causing chemicals at the same time. Not too bright. Similarly, a typical conventional doctor thinks he knows about health, but he buys breakfast cereals made with genetically modified corn and doesn’t even know that GMOs are bad for your health. A quantum physics professor wears antiperspirant deodorant and cologne products that contain powerful cancer-causing chemicals that are absorbed right through the skin. A pharmacist who is an expert in the world of drugs and synthetic chemicals has no clue that the common mineral zinc is crucial for proper immune function. Highly-intelligent architects for some reason don’t question the collapse of the WTC 7 building on 9/11 even though the official explanation of the collapse violates the laws of physics (a subject in which architects are well-versed). Chemists don’t consider the chemistry of the toxic shampoos they put on their hair every day. Nor do many scientists think realistically about the toxicity of mercury fillings or the fluorosilicic acid (“fluoride”) dumped into the public water supply. I could go on… The point of all this is that there exists a huge gap in practical intelligence among the so-called “smartest” people in our society . I’ve spoken with countless doctors and conventional health care providers who are brilliant in their own fields and yet don’t even know the basics of nutrition. So how can it be that a guy is so smart he can be the world’s best brain surgeon, but when he goes home at night, he bathes his own brain and body in a sea of toxic chemicals consumed as additives in his processed food dinner? Most people can’t assimilate the big picture What’s lacking in these so-called “smart” people is the ability to see the bigger picture by assimilating information from a large number of seemingly unrelated sources. Or, stated in another way, even some of the most high-IQ people around can’t see the big picture because they get lost in the details. Your typical oncologist, for example, almost certainly can’t hold an intelligent conversation about nutritional therapies to support immune function because he only thinks of antioxidants as “interfering” with the toxicity of his cancer poisons. Likewise, a typical virologist persistently looks at viruses as the cause of disease but forgets that viruses are opportunists which can only propagate when the terrain is sufficiently vulnerable. Thus, the best defense against invading microorganism is to change the terrain (the person being infected) rather than to try to rid the immediate area of all viruses. Memorization is not intelligence See, the very concept of “intelligence” in our society is way off the mark. It isn’t intelligent to be able to memorize and regurgitate a huge number of facts and figures, yet this is precisely the measure of academic aptitude assessed in modern educational systems — especially in law school and medical school. To function as a crude human database of facts and figures is not very useful in an age where handheld computers and mobile computing devices can do the same thing. But what computers and search engines can’t accomplish — something that is uniquely reserved for intelligent species — is the ability to assimilate information into a larger picture. It is, in other words, the ability to “connect the dots” and see patterns and trends in what might seem like chaos to others. My favorite physicist Richard Feynman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Feynman) was an especially gifted pattern assimilator . He was able to look far beyond the conventional boundaries of particle physics and grasp many of the non-intuitive interconnections between matter, energy and the nature of reality itself. On a more practical level, people like Gerald Celente and even Alex Jones are also phenomenally gifted pattern assimilators. It’s not that they are ridiculously good at remembering a lot of facts and figures in one very narrow area of science or knowledge; rather it’s the fact that these types of people are able to see patterns in world events and thereby interact with the world around them at a far higher level of understanding than most other people. Whereas a typical journalist sees a headline that says, “GMO restrictions called unscientific” and thinks it’s merely a story about how un-educated GMO opponents are, a more intelligent “pattern assimilator” person sees the same headline and understands the far deeper meaning it holds: That the GMO propaganda campaign is being framed in the language of “science” as a way to label reasonable opponents of GMOs as being somehow uneducated or stupid. But behind the fake science curtain, it’s really just gimmicky marketing and a profit-driven agenda. The pattern behind all that, of course, is the agenda to control the world’s food supply and, soon thereafter, charge monopoly prices for seeds (TM) that farmers used to be able to save for free. A few people are able to see the story behind the story . These people are the “meta-analyzers” of the world around them. They have what I call a “wide angle view” (a big picture view) where they can bring in observational data from a very large data set of observable events in order to infer greater understanding of the world around them. Here are just a few of the many pattern assimilators who are better known: Gerald Celente can see the big picture of world finance. He sees the signs of the slipping value of the dollar, the leveraged debt of world banks, the actions of the Fed, the Wall Street bailouts, the news propaganda from the financial sector, and so on — and from all that, he correctly infers that a global debt bubble is approaching catastrophic collapse. Many of his colleagues, on the other hand, even though they may achieve high scores on an IQ test, are scribbling away with their noses buried in the arcane mathematics of derivatives calculations, and they miss the big picture because their minds are too narrowly focused on a tiny slice of what’s really happening. When the big financial collapse comes, they will be caught with their pants down, holding their pencils in their hands. Author John Perkins is also another big-picture genius, in his own way, for being able to see the patterns of government actions on a global scaled. He’s the author of the popular book “Economic Hit Men” (and also “Hoodwinked”), and he sees patterns in the world that nearly everyone else misses. You can see my interview with Perkins, by the way, at: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=83B1AF93091799E7CEB88C5C459A530B On the nutrition front, Dr Richard Kunin is one of the most remarkable pattern assimilators you’ll ever find. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Kunin) Here’s a genius the world has largely overlooked. Alex Jones is one of the more astonishing assemblers of patterns out of chaos. His ability to see the underlying patterns behind world events is truly amazing, and whether you agree with his conclusions or not, his mind is able to amass an extraordinarily large amount of data from many sectors (health freedom, police state actions, legislative efforts and so on) and then identify patterns that most other people would miss. You can find Alex on www.PrisonPlanet.com Seeing the bigger picture doesn’t make you any more popular This list is by no means exhaustive. There are many genius-level pattern assimilators in our world. They are rarely recognized for their talents, however. If anything, those who “get” the big picture are often derided or criticized for doing so. Connecting too many dots, it seems, is dangerous for your reputation. Those who have the most success in the sciences (in particular), are the ones who keep their heads down and focus on their own tiny little corner of study without asking any of the really big questions like, “Hey, where did this grant money really come from?” I consider myself something of a pattern assimilator, as I see patterns from one area of knowledge often reflected in another. For example, if our global economy is like a world body, what would fit the definition of a cancer tumor engaged in angiogenesis? The answers is corporations , because corporations hijack their own supply of resources (much like cancer tumors build a new blood supply), then grow to a large and dangerous size at which point they begin to replicate and set up branch offices all over the world where the tumor cycle is repeated. And just like cancer tumors, corporations ultimately threaten the lives of their hosts. As an avid reader and student of human history, psychology and even quantum mechanics, I feel competent to discuss the history of philosophy as much as, say, the modern-day repeating of patterns of tyranny from World War II. The most promising and fascinating area of human discovery about to be achieved, in my opinion, relates to the superposition of quantum physics and human consciousness. This will result in a paradigm-shattering shift in understanding the nature of our reality, with ripple effects that resound throughout our modern world. Once Earth’s people come to realize, for example, that matter is consciousness (and that all consciousness is connected), the implications will require profound rethinking of things such as compassion for animals, religious beliefs and self identity. This is the really exciting stuff that’s headed our way. But we’ll never get to a higher understanding of consciousness if we remain “experts” limited to our tiny alcoves of knowledge. To really function as intelligent members of a race that has been advertised as “advanced,” we must expand not just the depth of our knowledge but the breadth of our understanding. And that, of course, means understanding the interconnectedness of our being-ness. It is the interconnectedness that really matters, quite literally (ahem). Let us hope that more members of the human species can learn to recognize the interconnectedness among not just people, plants and animals, but at another level the interconnectedness of mind, matter and energy, too. To gain understanding of this interconnectedness is — to paraphrase quite a number of scientists and philosophers from human history — to become closer to God. He who can see all interconnectedness in life and the cosmos is, of course, God Himself. To see and recognize the patterns in the reality we apparently inhabit is, in my view, the most important next step necessary for the advancement of human intelligence. Importantly, this advancement cannot come from the sciences alone. It must involve a so-called “quantum leap” in consciousness.
Twelve top experts speak out about health, fitness and longevity

(NaturalNews) A little over two years ago, I was invited to be part of a content creation project involving over a dozen experts who teamed up to create what came to be called The People’s Guide to Health, Happiness and Longevity . The producer of the content was none other than Craig Pepin-Donat, who has since gone on to be a key partner in the DotFit platform (http://www.dotfit.com) which now drives some of the most popular online nutrition and fitness tracking websites in the world. I was talking with Craig the other day and asking about The People’s Guide course. I remembered it was a great course featuring two sets of audio CDs and a physical book authored by Craig called The Big Fat Health and Fitness Lie , which exposes dishonest fitness equipment, pharmaceuticals and “miracle” bodybuilding supplements. It turns out he still had a few hundred copies of the course on hand that were part of the final print run right before he got swept up into the DotFit success. So of course I asked if we might be able to make these available to YOU, the NaturalNews readers, at a ridiculously discounted price, because the interviews are really very, very good. In this course from 2008, you’ll hear interviews with Dr Joel Fuhrman, Dr Hyla Cass, Shane Ellison, Kevin Gianna, Dr Henry Lodge and even myself (the Health Ranger). There’s a wealth of information here, and it’s all on CD packaged in an attractive two-box CD set with a bonus book included. This was originally priced at $198, if I remember correctly. It was a very popular information set at the time, and the information it offers about health, longevity and fitness is essentially timeless . Today, this course is available through Truth Publishing for a fraction of its original price: We slashed it to $52 . That’s roughly a 74% discount off the original price, and it’s a bargain for the wealth of information it contains. You can pick it up at the Truth Publishing store: Click here to see it at TruthPublishing.com What’s in The People’s Guide This audio CD symposium is a collection of interviews with some of the top experts in the fields of natural health, fitness and longevity. Interviews include: Dr. Joel Fuhrman , author of Eat to Live . I’m deeply impressed with the depth of his knowledge about using plant-based nutrition to cure so-called “incurable” diseases. Dr. Fuhrman is at the top of my list of people to pay attention to this year, and his participation in The People’s Guide to Health, Happiness and Longevity is, all by itself, worth every penny of investment in your own health that’s needed to get your copy of this course. Kevin Gianni is an incredibly positive and well-informed raw foods and fitness expert. He’s helped train thousands of people to achieve seemingly impossible fitness goals, and he combines it with a depth of knowledge of plant-based nutrition that’s almost unheard of in the fitness industry, even among gym junkies and fitness “gurus.” I’ve known Kevin for nearly two years, and I come to know him as an infectiously positive, upbeat and highly motivating teacher on both nutrition and fitness. His contribution to this People’s Guide to Health, Happiness and Longevity is a phenomenal interview that you’ll want to listen to several times. Debra Lynn Dadd , author of Home Safe Home and an expert on the toxicity of everyday products in the home, kitchen, bathroom, garden and garage. I also know Debra as a friend and colleague, and I can tell you that Debra’s information is absolutely vital for anyone wishing to avoid cancer (and respiratory diseases) and live in a healthy, non-toxic environment. Don’t even think of using another home cleaning product or personal care product until you learn what Debra has to say about chemicals in your home. Dr. Hyla Cass , author of Supplement Your Prescription , is one of the best-informed doctors on nutrition and phytochemicals that I’ve ever met. I met Dr. Cass at a recent trade show, and when we chatted, I was immediately impressed with the depth of her knowledge. I then picked up her book and read it cover to cover, absorbing one valuable fact after another. I’ve since become a great fan of Dr. Cass and hope to interview her on NaturalNews in the very near future. Other experts included in the course are: • Shane Ellison (“The People’s Chemist”) – Expert on reversing diabetes • Kim Lyons, superstar personal trainer for NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” show • Dr. Adam Shafran (“Dr. Fitness”) – Expert on weight loss • Chris Crowley, author of Younger Next Year • Laura Lewis, a “Life Change Expert” • Dr. Henry Lodge, co-author of Younger Next Year for Women: A Guide to Living Like Your 50 Until You’re 80 and Beyond … in all, it’s a combination of 12 of the healthiest and best-informed people on the planet for achieving remarkable new levels in personal health and fitness. Click here to get it at this 74% discount from Truth Publishing. I wish I had this years ago Seven years ago, when I began writing for NaturalNews.com, there was nothing like this available. I had to dig through hundreds of health books to find the most important answers about health and fitness, and that took literally thousands of hours. I’m not saying that this twelve-hour audio seminar is a complete replacement for reading 500 health books, but I have discovered that the most important concepts are all presented in these twelve interviews . If you listen, learn and apply the concepts you’ll learn in these twelve focused hours, you will have learned the most important principles outlined in those 500 books I painstakingly read. That’s because sometimes truly powerful information can be presented in a succinct, information-rich format (and a lot of what’s said in the top health books overlaps information from other health books). Why investing in your health is the best money you’ll ever spend I’ve always believed that investing in your health is the best investment a person can ever make. That’s why I personally spend so much money on nutritional supplements, superfoods, high-quality kitchen equipment and extreme exercise equipment (I have a high-end Pilates Reformer in my living room, and I have a full-size treadmill, a vibration board, an inversion machine, a set of Russian kettlebells, and much more… all sitting in my house where a typical family might put a couch and television set). Since food and exercise are the foundation of quality of life, I put the bulk of my earnings into exactly those things: Nutrition and exercise! But before you start making those investments in the best nutrition and exercise products that will have the greatest positive impact on your health, it’s important to know what works. In other words, where is the best place to spend your hard-earned cash? What’s the best direction to take in achieving that next level of physical fitness, disease reversal or peak human performance in your own life? That’s where The People’s Guide to Healthy, Happiness and Longevity becomes truly essential. Listening to it is like being given a secret treasure map to health and fitness. It’s a set of instructions, guidelines, strategies and tips for getting the greatest results with the least amount of investment in terms of time, money and effort. It’s like being handed the user manual for a new, healthier YOU! And that’s why I think it’s so valuable. How to open doors to curing “incurable” disease Today, I know that virtually every major disease that plagues society today is curable: cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and many more. I also know that you can achieve a level of human performance that most people can only dream about — both in terms of physical fitness and mental performance. Over the last several years, I’ve learned a wealth of invaluable knowledge about what it really takes to be in the top 1% of the top 1% of the healthiest people in the world, and in reality it all boils down to a few simple principles. It is those principles that are explored and described in this course, through the perspective of twelve different experts, each of whom has a slightly different approach to telling the truth about health that can set you free — and set you on a new course for the rest of your life. If you’re like most NaturalNews readers, you’ve already taken steps to improve your health, and yet you’d still probably like to learn how to multiply your successes and accelerate the achievement of your desired results . That’s what this course can help you accomplish. It can open you up to a universe of new possibilities and trigger your mind to embark on new pathways that end up being remarkable shortcuts, leading you directly to the results you’ve always wanted to achieve. Today, with the expert knowledge and experience of these twelve highly entertaining and informative experts, you’ll have the missing pieces of that puzzle firmly in hand, and you’ll be able to leap to the next level of personal health and life enhancement, all by just listening, learning and applying the discoveries waiting for you in this course. Click here to get it now at 74% off, only through Truth Publishing. You get: • Two sets of audio CDs (six CDs per set, or 12 in total) • One hardcopy of the book “The Big Fat Health and Fitness Lie” Original price = $198 Your price today = $52 Supplies are strictly limited. No more of these will be published, so when they’re sold out, they’re gone for good. You probably won’t find a better deal on truly innovative health and fitness information from independent thinkers, by the way. This is worth many times our current asking price. I’m thrilled to be able to bring you such a good value at a fraction of its original street price!
2010 in review: Here’s what happened in the world of natural health and health freedom

(NaturalNews) With 2010 officially over, here’s a look at the trends and top stories of the year in the world of natural health and health freedom. Throughout 2010, we learned about all sorts of interesting chemicals being used in the conventional food supply. We learned that window cleaning chemicals are injected into fast food hamburger meat (http://www.naturalnews.com/027872_ammonia_beef_products.html), and we learned that soy protein is extracted using a highly explosive chemical called hexane (http://www.naturalnews.com/026315_Martek_DHA.html). Water fluoridation surfaced as a big issue of 2010, and NaturalNews published an article describing the criminality of fluoridation (http://www.naturalnews.com/028913_fluoride_chemicals.html). The American Chemistry Council, predictably, insisted that BPA was safe for everyone (http://www.naturalnews.com/027975_American_Chemistry_Council_BPA.html), even as new evidence emerged that BPA was actually quite dangerous and might promote cancer. Food packaging companies scrambled to release BPA-free products, but the chemical is still found throughout canned soups and many other products. In travel news, a Carnival Cruise Lines ship was stranded in November due to an engine fire. Left with no food, bathrooms, water or electricity, the cruise passengers were rescued by the U.S. Navy who brought — get this — Spam and Pop-Tarts! (http://www.naturalnews.com/030354_Carnival_cruises_Pop-Tarts.html) The truth comes out The AIDS / HIV documentary House of Numbers came out in 2010, rocking the AIDS industry with intelligent questions that blew holes in conventional AIDS mythology (http://www.naturalnews.com/027890_AIDS_test_HIV.html). Vitamin D was huge news in 2010 as a steady stream of new evidence emerged, showing how vitamin D can prevent breast cancer (http://www.naturalnews.com/028119_vitamin_D_brst_cancer.html) and other degenerative diseases. In 2010, the world came to realize that vitamin D deficiency is now at pandemic proportions (http://www.naturalnews.com/028357_vitamin_D_deficiency.html). We also learned more about the dangers of High Fructose Corn Syrup and how it promotes diabetes (http://www.naturalnews.com/028340_diabetes_sodas.html). The news about HFCS got so bad that the corn syrup industry announced it was changing the name of the ingredient to “corn sugar” in an effort to fool consumers. There was some good news on the health freedom front in 2010, as the FDA was defeated in the courts over its attempted censorship of a nutritional supplement (http://www.naturalnews.com/028929_FDA_health_claims.html). On the intellectual property side of things, the US Patent Office actually took steps to invalidate corporate patents on human genes (http://www.naturalnews.com/030256_genes_patent_protection.html). This isn’t a done deal yet, but it’s a hopeful step in the right direction toward ending ridiculous gene patents. In the “weird news” category, we learned about the giant spinning hexagon on the planet Saturn, as photographed by NASA spacecraft (http://www.naturalnews.com/028797_Saturn_hexagon.html). The supply of Rare Earth Elements began to be in trouble in 2010 as we learned that many of the key components in electronics and solar panels are actually derived from filthy mines in China where many of these metals are about to be in critically short supply (http://www.naturalnews.com/028028_rare_earth_elements_mining.html). On the superfood news side, 2010 saw the introduction of the Boku Super Food Bar (http://www.naturalnews.com/030340_Boku_superfood_bar.html), which is the first superfood bar created by the People (using survey results from NaturalNews readers). Keeping tabs on the cattle The TSA took center stage in 2010 for reaching down our pants and making us walk through radiation-emitting microwave body scanners. Esteemed scientists warned that the devices could promote cancer and sperm mutations (http://www.naturalnews.com/030607_naked_body_scanners_radiation.html). In response to the TSA’s outrageous behavior against a now-famous guy who refused to be molested, I released a song called Don’t Touch My Junk which went super-viral across the ‘net (http://www.naturalnews.com/030450_Dont_Touch_My_Junk_song_TSA.html). The psychology of TSA agents was compared to Nazi war criminals (http://www.naturalnews.com/030563_TSA_agents_psychology.html). Sheriffs, meanwhile, announced they wanted a national database of prescription drug users (http://www.naturalnews.com/029736_sheriffs_drug_database.html) so they could track people who buy (and presumably sell) too many medications. Big Sis Janet Napolitano announced that Wal-Mart customers should all spy on each other and report anything “suspicious.” (http://www.naturalnews.com/030648_Wal-Mart_suspicious_activity.html) We launched a suspicious looking Wal-Mart video in response, featuring all the bizarre photos of the “People of Wal-Mart.” (http://www.naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=5A4B5D4B84344D5D9CBD262A53D8B071) Vaccines Autism rates continued to climb in 2010, even as mainstream medical authorities insist it isn’t caused by anything. Especially not vaccines. (http://www.naturalnews.com/028310_autism_neurotoxic_chemicals.html) Speaking of vaccines, in 2010 we learned that vaccines are causing convulsions and seizures in children (http://www.naturalnews.com/028773_vaccines_convulsions.html). One of the first batches made available in the year caused seizures in children (http://www.naturalnews.com/029334_flu_vaccines_seizures.html). At one point in the year, the FDA admitted that vaccines had been contaminated with a pig virus, but announced they were still safe (http://www.naturalnews.com/028832_rotavirus_vaccines_contamination.html). Walgreens announced its flu shot gift card (http://www.naturalnews.com/029511_Walgreens_flu_shot.html) and began running nationwide propaganda campaigns to promote flu shots which, by the way, automatically contained the swine flu vaccine from last year, too. Not too long after Walgreens issues its flu shot gift card, Australia banned flu vaccines in children (for that batch, anyway) after they were found to cause vomiting, fevers and seizures , sending numerous children to the hospital (http://www.naturalnews.com/029586_Australia_vaccines.html). Finland soon banned H1N1 vaccines after finding they caused narcolepsy (http://www.naturalnews.com/029596_vaccines_narcolepsy.html). Right after this, I released my Vaccine Zombie song (http://www.naturalnews.com/029607_Vaccine_Zombie_flu_season.html) which actually didn’t do too well, as it was released during the vaccination off season when people weren’t paying that much attention to vaccines yet in North America. In September, we published a story demolishing the quack science behind flu vaccines (http://www.naturalnews.com/029641_vaccines_junk_science.html). The vaccine industry was having a lousy Fall season in 2010, so they tried everything ramp up vaccinations, including opening booths in airports, grocery stores and even offering free vaccine shots at strip clubs! (http://www.naturalnews.com/029962_flu_shot_propaganda.html) The Lancet retracted Dr Wakefield’s famous paper linking vaccines to autism, thereby rewriting medical history in much the same way as the lead character in George Orwell’s 1984 book, where history was always reconstructed to match the political illusions of the current power holders. (http://www.naturalnews.com/028101_The_Lancet_Dr_Wakefield.html) To expose the fraud of the H1N1 swine flu vaccine scheme, I offered a $10,000 reward for proof that the vaccine was safe and effective (http://www.naturalnews.com/027985_H1N1_vaccines_safety.html), but no one took me up on the offer, of course, since such evidence does not exist. (That’s because they never adequately test these vaccines before they start injecting people.) Ultimately, it turned out that vitamin D worked far better at preventing flu infections than vaccines anyway (http://www.naturalnews.com/029760_vitamin_D_influenza.html). There was a lot of money floating around in the vaccine industry, of course, especially as we learned that World Health Organization advisors were on the take, receiving kickbacks from vaccine manufacturers (http://www.naturalnews.com/028936_WHO_vaccines.html). In July, Dr Gary Null published a powerful story exposing the quackery and lies of the vaccine industry (http://www.naturalnews.com/029124_flu_vaccines_quackery.html). Chemotherapy One of the more fascinating bits of news from 2010 was the revelation that pharmacists are getting cancer from handling chemotherapy drugs! (http://www.naturalnews.com/029191_secondhand_chemotherapy_cancer.html) Yet they still sell them to others. Interesting, huh? As part of the chemotherapy push, the LA Times published a story that actually recommended what can only be the most moronic health advice of the year: “Preventive chemotherapy” for those who don’t yet have cancer. (http://www.naturalnews.com/030181_LA_Times_pinkwashing.html) Chemotherapy was the drug of choice for Michael Douglas , of course (http://www.naturalnews.com/029685_Michael_Douglas_throat_cancer.html). He decided to use it to “treat” his cancer, following in the footsteps of Farrah Fawcett who died from chemotherapy last year. Celebrities just can’t seem to get enough of chemo, and sadly we have to keep reporting on their deaths each year. Former lead singer of the band LFO, Rich Cronin, also passed away from chemo this year (http://www.naturalnews.com/029699_chemotherapy_Rich_Cronin.html). Disinfo The Institute of Medicine released new recommendation on vitamin D. It turns out they were designed to keep everybody vitamin D deficient while warning people not to take too much (http://www.naturalnews.com/030598_vitamin_D_Institute_of_Medicine.html). Continuing with nutritional disinfo, a nutrition professor claims he lost weight eating Twinkies (http://www.naturalnews.com/030616_junk_food_diet.html) but the media stories neglected to mention you can lose weight on chemotherapy, too. Sesame Street played a big role in the disinfo efforts of the year, introducing new “superfood” muppets. One of them is a block of cheese, and another is a hamburger bun. (http://www.naturalnews.com/030626_muppets_Sesame_Street.html) On the psychiatric stage, 2010 saw the industry label healthy eating a “mental disorder” that they dubbed orthorexia nervosa (http://www.naturalnews.com/029098_orthorexia_mental_disorder.html). That’s on top of the similarly concocted Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) which is diagnosed in anyone who questions authority or refuses to get vaccinated. As part of the Big Pharma push, doctors began urging fast food restaurants to hand out statin drugs like ketchup packets (http://www.naturalnews.com/029467_statin_drugs_fast_food.html). We posted a video documenting this news, and it received over a quarter million views: http://www.naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=DE483716CF71BBC79F005FDF473E3511 We also exposed the top health care lies still driving conventional medicine (http://www.naturalnews.com/028623_health_care_America.html), and we revealed the ridiculous pinkwashing fraud with Komen’s promotion of Kentucky Fried Chicken (http://www.naturalnews.com/028631_Komen_for_the_cure_pinkwashing.html). The Food Safety debate was a big deal during the end of 2010 (http://www.naturalnews.com/030461_Senate_Bill_510_Food_Safety.html). The bill ultimately passed. It contains language that asks to FDA to “harmonize” the U.S. food supply with Codex Alimentarius (http://www.naturalnews.com/030863_food_safety_bill_Codex_Alimentarius.html). Is also has the FDA setting up food safety enforcement offices in foreign nations . Big Pharma fraud Dr. Scott Reuben, an esteemed Big Pharma researcher, was caught faking dozens of studies upon which the medical industry relied to push popular prescription drugs (http://www.naturalnews.com/028194_Scott_Reuben_research_fraud.html). To this day, Dr Reuben’s research is still quoted in books and medical journals, even though we now know he simply invented all the clinical trial data. But Dr Reuben wasn’t the end of the pharmaceutical fraud news in 2010. We also learned that virtually all placebo-controlled trials throughout the industry were fraudulent to begin with because there are zero standards for the composition of the placebo pills, and what they’re made of is almost never reported in clinical trials (http://www.naturalnews.com/030209_placebo_medical_fraud.html). We also got news that a doctor recognized by the AMA, published in medical journals and tapped to teach Continuing Medical Education credits was a total fraud, having fooled the medical system for 20 years (http://www.naturalnews.com/030729_William_Hamman_fraud.html). Johnson and Johnson took center stage throughout 2010 with a seeming never-ending stream of product recalls due to all sorts of chemicals and even metal fragments being found in their medicines. They were also caught in a drug profit kickback scheme and were sued by the Justice Department (http://www.naturalnews.com/027994_Johnson_&_kickbacks.html). Famous people In 2010, we interviewed Jesse Ventura (http://www.naturalnews.com/028546_Jesse_Ventura_conspiracy_theory.html), Daniel Vitalis (http://www.naturalnews.com/028568_Daniel_Vitalis_deer_antler_velvet.html), Suzy Cohen (http://www.naturalnews.com/028614_Suzy_Cohen_diabetes.html), David Wolfe (http://www.naturalnews.com/028839_cactus_fruit_David_Wolfe.html) and many other well-known people. Former President Bill Clinton announced he was following the “Heart Attack Proof” diet based on juicing and plant-based foods (http://www.naturalnews.com/029816_Bill_Clinton_plant-based_diet.html). Saving the planet from modern “science” Of course, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill was a significant story in 2010 (http://www.naturalnews.com/028693_Gulf_of_Mexico_Halliburton.html), and in terms of the pollution of waterways, Big Pharma also emerged in 2010 as a major global polluter (http://www.naturalnews.com/029314_waterways_contamination.html). The GMO stories of 2010 were simply amazing. We learned that the USA was pressuring European countries to stop any GMO labeling of foods (http://www.naturalnews.com/028716_GMOs_food_labels.html), and then later we learned through Wikileaks cables that the United States actually conspired with GMO corporations to push GMOs across Europe while creating a “retaliatory target list” of any who opposed it (http://www.naturalnews.com/030828_GMOs_Wikileaks.html). We also learned that the FDA looked eager to approve GMO salmon (http://www.naturalnews.com/029770_salmon_genetically_engineered.html), but thankfully this decision was slowed by tremendous public outcry. I launched my “Just Say No to GMO” song in October as part of the GMO Awareness Month activities (http://www.naturalnews.com/030044_No_GMO_song.html). The song went super-viral and eventually racked up more than half a million views spanning four languages. Jeffrey Smith from the IRT continues to kick butt exposing the truth about GMOs. In a successful fundraising effort, NaturalNews and its readers raised over $30,000 to help fund the IRT (http://www.naturalnews.com/030407_GMO_Jeffrey_Smith.html). The world food supply took major hits during 2010 as freakish weather events caused droughts, floods and freezes that drastically reduced food supply in key areas (http://www.naturalnews.com/027924_food_supply_weather_patterns.html). Censorship and Big Government 2010 was a big year of censorship. YouTube censored our interview with Jeffrey Smith about GMOs (http://www.naturalnews.com/028718_YouTube_censorship.html) and then later turned the video back on. Alex Jones saw his site removed from the Google News search engine, and YouTube also announced it would drop his entire video channel. The FTC took part in the censorship, too, going after the POM Wonderful company for telling the truth about the health benefits of its pomegranate juice products (http://www.naturalnews.com/029901_pomegranate_juice_health_claims.html). The Department of Homeland Security began seizing websites in 2010 (http://www.naturalnews.com/030542_censorship_internet.html), claiming (illegal) authority over them. Thanks to Wikileaks, the push is now on for government to try to control the internet. The raw milk wars were a big news item in 2010, as the FDA and state authorities took aggressive action to criminalize and arrest raw milk producers (http://www.naturalnews.com/028757_raw_milk_FDA.html). Criminal elements of the law enforcement community conducted an armed raid on a raw food co-op in California (http://www.naturalnews.com/030136_Rawesome_foods_raid.html) called Rawesome Foods. Their crime? They were selling raw milk. Partly to protect our own video freedom from censorship, we launched NaturalNews.TV which has now grown to the largest natural health video site in the world, with over 10,000 members now uploading videos (and growing daily). Soon popular video stars such as AZ Mike (http://naturalnews.tv/Browse.asp?memberid=3891) and Magnus Mulliner (http://naturalnews.tv/Browse.asp?memberid=639) emerged on the site. Evil experiments We saw Bill Gates emerge as a global population control zealot, even funding new technology to destroy sperm (http://www.naturalnews.com/028853_ultrasound_fetus.html) and another project to vaccinate people without their knowledge, using covert technology (http://www.naturalnews.com/028887_vaccines_Bill_Gates.html). Later in the year, Gates was actually caught on video calling for a reduction in world population through the use of vaccines (http://www.naturalnews.com/029911_vaccines_Bill_Gates.html). Meanwhile, the United States was caught red-handed in conducting medical experiments on Guatemalan prisoners (http://www.naturalnews.com/029924_medical_experiments_Guatemala.html). Obama actually had to pick up the phone and apologize for this embarrassing bit of history that shows how governments always use innocents as guinea pigs to test their drugs. What a year, huh? In addition to everything mentioned above, 2010 also saw the release of a huge number of studies supporting the healing use of herbs and natural remedies. Still, 2010 was mostly a year of expanded censorship, attacks on health freedom and expansions of government tyranny. Fortunately for us all, 2011 – 2012 look to be far more positive in terms of people waking up and contributing to global changes in consciousness that will ultimately end this era of censorship and ignorance (see my upcoming article on 2011 predictions for details).

(NaturalNews) The NaturalNews Talk Hour presents Genetic Roulette – The Dangers of GMO’s – with our special guest Jeffrey Smith, bestselling author of the #1 rated book on the health dangers of genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). This show will reveal how the largest biotech companies in the world continue to deceive the general public, congress and the FDA. “Thank you so very much for the work that you are doing in order to provide the public with such educational information” – Geri E. Watch this video as Jonathan Landsman questions the value of genetically engineered foods plus provides valuable show details. What is a GMO? A GMO (genetically modified organism) is the result of a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal. The foreign genes may come from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals or even humans. Because this involves the transfer of genes, GMO’s are also known as “transgenic” organisms. GMO’s are currently in the vast majority of processed foods in the United States. While they are banned as food ingredients in Europe and elsewhere, the FDA does not even require the labeling of GMO’s in food ingredient lists. If you buy food from a regular restaurant or supermarket – you’re probably eating genetically modified foods. The NaturalNews Talk Hour begins this Thursday evening at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern, and registration is FREE. Simply enter your email address in the registration form on the right column of this page and you’ll receive call-in details for the show. The Danger of GMO’s Genetically modified foods have been linked to toxic and allergic reactions, sick, sterile, and dead livestock, and damage to virtually every organ studied in lab animals. The effects on humans of consuming these new combinations of proteins produced in GMOs are unknown and have not been studied. Don’t risk your life – get the facts! US government deliberately infected Guatemalans with STDs in medical experiment
October 2, 2010 by

(NaturalNews) The U.S. government made an interesting announcement this week, admitting it purposely infected hundreds of Guatemalans with gonorrhea and syphilis back in the 1940s as part of an “inoculation study”. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius jointly made a public apology for the experiment, which they dubbed “unethical” and “abhorrent”. According to reports uncovered by Susan Reverby, a professor of women’s studies at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, U.S. government medical researchers secretly infected institutionalized mental patients in Guatemala with the STDs, without their knowledge. They then prompted those patients to spread the disease around to others as part of their study. “We deeply regret that it happened, and we apologize to all the individuals who were affected by such abhorrent research practices,” said Clinton and Sebelius in a statement. However, according to a recent MSNBC report, the Guatemalan government was in on the experiment as well. Similar covert research has been conducted here in the U.S. as well, including the 1932 Tuskegee experiment where U.S. researchers tricked hundreds of African-American men into thinking they were being treated for a “bad blood” disease — which was really syphilis — when in fact they gave them no treatment at all. That heinous experiment was not revealed publicly until 40 years later. Of course, these are hardly isolated instances. There is mounting evidence against the U.S. government for regularly conducting medical experimentation on people, whether it be through forcing untested vaccinations on soldiers or drugging masses of children with psychiatric medications. “In the 1950s, the U.S. government experimented on unwitting people by giving them the powerful hallucinogenic drug, LSD,” explains Peter Breggin in his book Medication Madness: A Psychiatrist Exposes the Dangers of Mood-Altering Medications . “At least one of the experimental subjects, army officer Eric Olson, committed suicide by leaping out the window of an office building in which he was confined for the experiment. Eric didn’t know he was the subject of an experiment and therefore had no idea that he was being driven mad by a drug.” Sources for this story include: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39456324/ns/health-sexual_health/ http://www.naturalnews.com/019189.html http://www.alternet.org/health/140206
