Gingrich wants what never was and can never be – a more aggressive drug war policy that works

(NaturalNews) Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is rising in the polls and could very well wind up being the next Republican presidential nominee. Like him or despise him, one knock against him is his publicly stated desire for something that hasn’t worked and can never work – a more “aggressive” drug policy and an absolute prohibition on medical marijuana. In an interview last month, Gingrich changed his mind since 1981, when he first introduced legislation to legalize marijuana. “What has changed was the number of parents I met with who said they did not want their children to get the signal from the government that it was acceptable behavior and that they were prepared to say as a matter of value that it was better to send a clear signal on no drug use at the risk of inconveniencing some people, than it was to be compassionate toward a small group at the risk of telling a much larger group that it was okay to use the drug,” he said. “My general belief is that we ought to be much more aggressive about drug policy.” The facts don’t bear that a “more aggressive” drug policy works, considering the “war on drugs” the U.S. has been waging since the 1980s. What has happened is this: millions of Americans have been jailed for smoking marijuana, and yet marijuana use has only grown over the past 30 years. In 2005, 12.7 percent of state inmates and 12.4 percent of federal prisoners were being incarcerated for marijuana use, according to the Justice Department’s Bureau of Justice Statistics. Extrapolating out the costs, taxpayers – in 2005 – were ponying up $1 billion a year to keep people in jail whose only crime is smoking a “drug” that has less dangerous social implications than alcohol, which is legal, of course. But Gingrich wants even stiffer penalties for drug use – any drug. But to his credit, at least, he didn’t think prison was the answer. He favors providing medical help and drug treatment, but again, taxpayers would be on the hook for these programs too. And why does a casual marijuana user need a drug treatment program, when casual alcohol users aren’t required to attend AA meetings? The tide could be turning against Gingrich. Sixteen states and Washington, D.C., have legalized medical marijuana, even though the federal government still lists it as a Schedule I substance – the most medically useless and dangerous of drugs. Also, Gingrich says his opposition is rooted in concern for children regarding drug use, and the “signal” it would send in terms of government condoning it. For one, medical marijuana use does not increase usage among children , a recent report has found. And two, children watch adults drink alcohol but are well aware that legally , they can’t have a drink until they are 21 years old. Wouldn’t it be prudent to place a similar age restriction on smoking marijuana? The pot issue is more one of finding the right combination of laws and public policy, to handle both the perception issue and the usage issue. The fight is not about whether marijuana is too dangerous, especially when compared to alcohol, because when that comparison is made, alcohol loses hands down . New evidence chemotherapy for breast cancer causes brain damage

(NaturalNews) Primary breast cancer (meaning a breast malignancy that hasn’t spread to other parts of the body) isn’t usually thought of as causing neurological problems. After all, if cancer hasn’t spread to the brain, why would it? Researchers have been forced to wonder about the answer to that question because a growing body of evidence over the past several years strongly suggests that women with breast cancer are at increased risk for not only problems with brain function but with actual alterations in their brain structure, too. It turns out, according to a report just published in the November issue of the Archives of Neurology , that it’s not the cancer but the treatment for breast cancer — specifically chemotherapy — that could be causing a significant amount of the neurological impairment with poor outcomes seen in women with breast cancer. Shelli R. Kesler, Ph.D., and colleagues at Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, California, conducted an observational study to investigate whether patterns of brain activation differed between breast cancer survivors who were treated with chemotherapy and those who didn’t have chemo. The research team also compared the brain activity of these breast cancer survivors to the brain activity of healthy women who were cancer-free. In all, the study involved 25 women with breast cancer who received chemotherapy, 19 women with breast cancer who did not undergo chemotherapy, and 18 healthy female controls. All the research subjects were matched for age and other variables. The women were asked to perform a variety of tasks while the scientists used functional MRIs to measure and document activation in several areas of the women’s brains. Imaging tests showed specific areas of brain injury “Women with breast cancer demonstrated significantly reduced activation in the left middle dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and premotor cortex compared with healthy controls,” the authors reported in the paper. “The chemotherapy group also demonstrated significantly reduced left caudal lateral prefrontal cortex activation and increased perseverative errors and reduced processing speed compared with the other two groups.” So what does this mean in plain English? The researchers concluded that primary breast cancer may cause measurable brain injury but chemotherapy clearly showed significant negative effects on brain function. The damage caused by chemotherapy was more likely to be increased in older women and those with less education, too. “Women treated with chemotherapy may show additional prefrontal deficits and have difficulty compensating for neurobiological changes such that they also show impaired executive function,” the scientists concluded in their research paper. This is very worrisome because executive function is a critical part of normal brain function. The components of executive function include working memory and recall (holding facts in your mind while working on a problem and accessing facts stored in long-term memory); paying attention and completing tasks; emotional control, such as thinking before acting and speaking; using self-talk to control behavior; and complex problem solving including analyzing issues and coming up with new ideas. How the CDC really spends your tax dollars

(NaturalNews) Recently the research, practices and spending habits of The Center for Disease Control (CDC) have been under harsh scrutiny, and with good reason. Video and story coverage on CBS proves that the CDC is utterly corrupt, spending YOUR tax dollars in ways that will blow your mind. Watch the video here and see where your money really goes: (http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=61B80CA8D8292D96E2CCB37F37557F9F) Although the CDC’s main mission is supposed to be to prevent disease, a shocking investigation from Congress claims the profiteering agency has been squandering hundreds of millions of your tax dollars on Hollywood scripts, posh fitness clubs and amenities, parties and more. The CDC uses tax dollars to push propaganda on Hollywood The candid scrutiny of the CDC budget begins in Hollywood, where the agency reportedly pays a liaison to help TV dramas and soap operas write “accurate medical plots.” That’s right folks, that means the CDC actually pushes its propaganda onto Hollywood scripts . This service is completely free of charge to Tinseltown tycoons, all thanks to the generosity of $1.7 million of your tax dollars . Talk about a SERIOUS waste of taxpayer dollars! Outlandish spending first exposed in a Congressional report: “CDC Off-Center” In 2007 Senator Tom Coburn issued a report, titled CDC Off-Center, which cites an outrageous amount of improper spending on multiple non-disease related expenses. All the while, the agency continues to be unable to explain exactly how they are doing their job of preventing disease. The CBS special report on Coburn’s investigation claims that even back in 2008 the CDC was asking the U.S. Government for an ADDITIONAL billion dollars to add to its $10 billion dollar budget. Clearly it plans to continue finding ways to exploit the hard-earned money of taxpayers — in ways that have absolutely nothing to do with disease prevention. Where the agency’s funding REALLY goes What exactly are these non-disease related expenses? How about the CDC’s new $109 million headquarters that it has filled to the brim with nearly 10 million bucks in furniture? Apparently the figures work out to be about $12,000 worth PER PERSON in the building. The agency’s beyond-frivolous spending doesn’t stop there, however. Let’s not neglect to mention the new $106 million communications and visitors center which comes complete with waterfalls, plasma televisions and much more. A $200,000 fitness center boasts $30,000 saunas, “quiet rooms” and “zero gravity chairs” that provide “mood-enhancing light shows” for CDC employees. The Congressional report mentions that taxpayer dollars that are actually being spent on disease prevention almost always yield “disappointing results.” Disappointing is an extreme understatement. AIDS grants given to the CDC have reportedly been put toward workshops on erotic writing, how to flirt and how to throw an alcohol party. In fact, the crooked agency supposedly spent $5 billion over the course of seven years on AIDS prevention. But the infection rate didn’t drop the slightest bit. And after it spent $269 million worth of YOUR tax dollars on its efforts to eliminate syphilis, syphilis rates WENT UP 68 percent . CDC Director Julie Louise Gerberding wouldn’t agree to an interview, the CBS report claims, “from CDC’s new state-of-the-art television studio or anywhere else.” However, the agency issued a statement saying “CDC takes seriously the need to wisely and appropriately use its resources,” and that the report gives an incomplete view of its “excellent public health work.” Excellent public health work? That must include lying to the public for years about how dangerous vaccines are. Read more here: http://www.naturalnews.com/033902_CDC_vaccines.html In fact, the CDC vaccine scientist who downplayed links to autism was indicted by DOJ earlier this year in an alleged fraud scheme: http://www.naturalnews.com/032216_Thorsen_fraud.html According to the CDC, the new facilities and equipment it has spent millions on “have led to scientific advances and strengthened our ability to respond to public health emergencies.” More like, they have drained the pocketbooks of taxpayers that have no idea where their money is actually going! (As we can see, it’s certainly not toward successful disease prevention.) Book review: Doctors Are More Harmful Than Germs by Dr. Harvey Bigelsen M.D

(NaturalNews) If you are like the average American, you have led a life filled with Western medical policies, procedures, drugs and quick-fixes. As one of the biggest businesses in the United States, modern medicine may be costing you more than just a high insurance premium each month. According to Harvey Bigelsen, M.D., author of Doctors Are More Harmful Than Germs: How Surgery Can Be Hazardous to Your Health And What to Do About It , these practices could be costing you your natural right to a high quality of life. Starting by comparing common surgical incisions to being assaulted and stabbed during a robbery, this book brings common sense to light in an easy-to-understand way. Being stabbed and being surgically opened both cause your body physical harm, inflammation, and have lasting effects on the body. While your mind may realize the benefits of a surgical procedure, the book explains in detail how the body recognizes only injury. When money comes before your health Within the pages, Bigelsen tackles the challenging question of why modern medicine is accepting of so many detrimental procedures, and how it has started to focus on symptoms instead of the big picture of illness. With less respect for the body in each passing year, Bigelsen approaches the topic of how the medical community is becoming corrupt, pairing up with big businesses, and has led to the creation of a multi-million dollar pharmaceutical industry. Within the first few chapters, you will find a detailed look on how this practice leads to doctors making biased choices, placing money and capitalism before a patient’s health. According to Bigelsen, “Doctors had become paid spokes-people for the drug companies, the medical device manufacturers, and the disease organizations. The lines between academics and industry blurred when it came to funding research and development. Today we are no longer certain who holds the purse strings; we only know that when an opinion is offered, it is almost certainly biased.” Biological medicine, and how it can help you Explaining how he views the human body as an intelligent being, Bigelsen focuses his practice and teachings on what is known as “biological medicine.” This version of medicine looks at the emotional and physical experiences of the body in relation to health, and takes the appropriate steps to heal the problem rather than treat symptoms as they come. During his research, Bigelsen has noticed that most illnesses can be traced back to chronic inflammation in the body, preventing circulation and the natural healing process. Today’s medical practices, such as surgeries and exposure to radiation, combined with overuse of prescription drugs, have left the average person working at only 50 percent of their natural ability. From routine surgeries to dental procedures, this book brings awareness to how widely accepted mutilation of the body is, and how the modern medical community refuses to acknowledge it as detrimental to human existence. Furthering the topic of common dentistry, Bigelsen remarks on how many dental tools, plastic fillings and dental sealants can contain bisphenol A, more commonly known as BPA. Commonly found in plastic water bottles, this dangerous chemical has gained more media attention recently for being a toxic substance. Throughout the book, Dr. Bigelsen stresses how the body is connected in all ways, from the physical aspects to the emotional. Using the methods of osteopathy, homeopathy and acupuncture in his practice, Dr. Bigelsen is able to treat patients with otherwise untreatable conditions, recognizing that disease comes from inflammation in the body that is chronic or trapped by things such as injuries, infections and surgical procedures. Treating the symptoms and not the problems In the pages of his book, Bigelsen takes you through case after case of modern medical misdiagnosis resulting from other injuries within the body. By releasing this inflammation and allowing the body to heal, Bigelsen has successfully healed conditions such as hepatitis, Lyme disease, localized pain, and much more. Looking past the diagnosis of symptoms, this book teaches the concept of health as not being defined by illness, but instead by actual health. Viewing every person as an individual with a body made up of intelligent cells, the healing process can be created uniquely for each person. Reading through the pages of Bigelsen’s book reveals a powerful message for the “sheeple” of today’s society. Bringing common sense into the light once more, this book is truly an asset to the medical community, as well as any person looking to improve their health. Thomas Jefferson was America’s most famous anti-government revolutionary

(NaturalNews) “A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.” One of the most influential of our nation’s founding fathers was Thomas Jefferson, to whom the above quote is attributed and the man who was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence. Perhaps more than any other American founding father, Jefferson was a bona fide proponent of liberty who was inherently suspicious of a powerful central government and who once wrote in a private letter he had “sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” Born in Albemarle County, Virginia, in 1746 to Peter Jefferson, a successful planter and surveyor, and Jane Randolph, who belonged to one of Virginia’s most prestigious families, the former U.S. president grew up well taken care of. He first studied at the College of William and Mary before reading law. In his mid-20s he inherited quite a bit of land from his father, on which he began building his famed estate, Monticello, and in 1772, just six years before he would take part in the birth of the United States, Jefferson married a widow, Martha Wayles Skelton. No public speaker, Jefferson was nonetheless a fluent writer, using his composition skills first as a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses and then as a member of the Continental Congress. He was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence, ” regarded ever since as a charter of American and universal liberties .” Early on it was apparent that Jefferson was a champion of liberty and freedom. The dust and gunpowder smoke had barely cleared from the Revolutionary War when Jefferson, still based in Virginia, wrote a bill establishing religious freedom that was enacted in 1786. As the new nation formed its governmental institutions, Jefferson split early from the Federalists, America’s first national political party formed by Alexander Hamilton, because he believed its principles too strongly favored a strong national government while he supported giving state governments more power. As such, Jefferson drifted towards the Democratic Republican party, which was sympathetic to the revolutionary cause in France. In 1796 he came within three votes of being elected president, but he was named vice president though he was not an ally of President John Adams. Later, when he assumed the presidency in 1801, his leadership style reflected his small-government philosophy. He cut the size of the Army and Navy, got rid of an unpopular tax on whiskey (the source of the Whiskey Rebellion, which began in 1791), and managed to reduce the national debt by one-third. He also acted to protect the fledging nation’s interests. Jefferson dispatched a naval squadron to battle Barbary pirates who were attacking American shipping commerce in the Mediterranean Sea, and he increased the size of the United States by acquiring more land from France’s despotic leader, Napoleon, though the Constitution contained no specific language regarding expansion of the nation’s borders. Jefferson even managed to get a good deal on the purchase; Jefferson negotiated for about 500 million acres of land that wound up becoming part of 15 new states eventually, and all for about 3 cents per acre. After the purchase was finalized Jefferson commissioned Meriweather Lewis and William Clark to lead a military expedition to explore the new land. During Jefferson’s second term (1804-1808), he was faced with what to do about the Napoleonic Wars raging in Europe. England and France attempted to provoke the United States into conflict, as both interfered with American shipping and commerce. But Jefferson was determined to keep the young nation out of foreign conflicts. Although his solution – placing an embargo on American shipping – did not work out well and was unpopular, the nation did not involve itself in another conflict so soon after solidifying a functional government. When he finished his second term and peacefully relinquished power to his friend, James Madison, Jefferson retired to Montecello, where he continued his tradition of fostering liberty and public service. “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them,” he once said. He went on to found the University of Virginia, and continued to reflect upon the grace of the new American republic, which he fully realized was as much a political experiment in its make-up as it was a miracle for its formation and functionality. Ironically, perhaps, even in death Jefferson’s life reflected his unending patriotism. He died on July 4, 1826 – 50 years to the day after the signing of the Declaration of Independence he authored – and just hours before his close friend, John Adams, passed away. Cognizant of the gift of American existence bestowed by him and his fellow revolutionaries on future generations of Americans, Jefferson was also fully aware of the responsibility those generations would assume in keeping the republic intact when he wrote in a letter to William Stephens Smith in Paris in 1878, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.” At his request, his tombstone reflected on his contributions and gifts to the new nation, not what he had received. It read: “HERE WAS BURIED THOMAS JEFFERSON, AUTHOR OF THE DECLARATION OF AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE, OF THE STATUTE OF VIRGINIA FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, AND FATHER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA.”
Join massive dance protest this Saturday at Jefferson Memorial, Washington D.C.

(NaturalNews) Organized by Adam Kokesh, the host of Adam vs. the Man on RT America (www.RT.com/usa), a dance protest last Saturday attracted dozens of people who engaged in silent dancing inside the hall of the Jefferson Memorial. But even as they swayed in silence, the D.C. police viciously assaulted them, choking Adam Kokesh around the throat, then picking him up and violently slamming his body to the ground (http://rt.com/news/arrest-police-usa-kokesh/). This is the new standard of violent government oppression in America: The mere fact that your body is moving rhythmically is now enough to get you violently assaulted by law enforcement. That this is taking place inside the memorial of Thomas Jefferson is, all by itself, an insult to what the memorial itself stands for: Freedom. If anything, Jefferson would have welcomed the idea of people dancing, singing, speaking and even dissenting in the hall of his memorial. Thomas Jefferson, after all, was the most famous anti-government revolutionary in U.S. history. And it was he who warned about the rise of corporate fascism and runaway government power. I’ve posted the video of the D.C. police violence against the protestors at NaturalNews.TV: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=7A89D7EC8565C50E29B2901589E0D547 You’ll be arrested, but we won’t tell you why… Here are some of the words exchanged between police and the protestors, before the arrests began: D.C. Park Police: If you come out here and you demonstrate by dancing, you will be placed under arrest. Does everybody understand that? … and you will spend the weekend in jail. Citizen: But sir, that’s illegal. What would we be charged with? D.C. Park Police: You are too far away from the city to allow citation to reappear, therefore they lock you up and hold you. Citizen: What exactly would be the violation? D.C. Park Police: You’ll find out. Citizen: What law is that? D.C. Park Police: I’m just giving you the warnings right now. Citizen: You’re telling us you’ll arrest us, but you’re not telling us under what law or under what authority… D.C. Park Police: If you’re dancing in here, we’re gonna [unintelligible]… [walks away] After this exchange, the police begin violently assaulting the dancers, including place them in choke holds and body slamming them onto the concrete floor. [Heard in the background] “Dancing in a public area is now a crime!” Adam vs. the Man Adam Kokesh hosts a program on RT America, and his website is http://www.adamvstheman.com He’s sometimes described as a “left-leaning radical” but what I see in Adam is a person who isn’t afraid to assert his freedoms and challenge the status quo. That makes him more of a liberty-oriented individual in my book. I’m actually scheduled to be on his show in about two weeks, during which we will share the word about health freedom and the FDA war on nutrition and healing. If you’d like to help support my appearance on Adam’s show, simply go to this page and vote for “Mike Adams”: http://www.adamvstheman.com/suggestions Adam is making waves with his protests and his challenges to federal tyranny, and we intend to cover his upcoming events here on NaturalNews (see below). Join the massive dance protest this Saturday, June 4th, at the Jefferson Memorial NaturalNews urges its readers who are within driving distance to D.C. to join the massive dance protest that’s now forming up for Saturday, June 4th. In response to the violent arrest of dancers last Saturday, Adam Kokesh is organizing this repeat dance protest this Saturday, which aims to attract hundreds of people to come dance at the Jefferson Memorial. It’s called the Dance Party at TJ’s! The page describing this upcoming event is: http://www.adamvstheman.com/video-contest And the Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=150453268357946 Dancing commences at exactly twelve noon . Importantly, you do NOT have to risk being arrested if you don’t want to… just dance outside the memorial (on the steps) in a show of support. If you wish, you can dance inside the memorial and risk being arrested or even violently attacked by the vicious D.C. park police who somehow think they have the right to physically attack American citizens right inside the Jefferson memorial itself! Bring your video cameras to record the protest, and bring a backup camera in case they seize your first one! Who is Adam Kokesh? By the way, I don’t yet know Adam Kokesh in person, so I can’t say whether I agree with everything he advocates, but that’s not important right now. What I really admire about Adam is his courage to engage in a public display of civil disobedience much like we saw in the civil rights movement. By daring to dance at the Jefferson Memorial, he is giving the finger to the police state and engaging in precisely the kind of freedom of speech that we should all be exercising. That is no doubt why the D.C. park police choked him and body slammed him to the ground… to send a warning message. This is the way government thugs operate: Through the threat of violence. They have no respect for freedom, no respect for the Bill of Rights and no respect for individual citizens. They use fear, force and violence to protect their interests, usually at the expense of the very public they falsely claim to be serving. By dancing at the TJ memorial, Adam is exposing the existence of the police state in America . Think about it: If they can’t allow you to even silently move your body in rhythm , what chance do you think there is of them allowing you to speak your mind? The fact that they are arresting dancers at the Jefferson memorial perfectly parallels the reality that the TSA is reaching down your pants at the airports: It’s all a symptom of the rising police state that respects no freedom of expression and no law whatsoever. Join the dance protest this Saturday and bring your cameras! Get this footage on the record, because this will become part of the historical record of the American police state and its response to peaceful protest at the memorial of one of the most important anti-government revolutionaries in our nation’s history: Thomas Jefferson. Again, the website to learn more is: http://www.adamvstheman.com And be sure to vote for “Mike Adams” so we have more support to be on Adam’s show: http://www.adamvstheman.com/suggestions Watch for more breaking news about this protest on June 5th!
The reality of reincarnation (Opinion)
May 20, 2011 by Health Blogger

(NaturalNews) When speaking of reincarnation we are speaking of a person transmigrating from one form of life to another form of life. Obviously, a physical body cannot move into another physical body. So it means that after the death of one body there is something that continues to exist and it is not the material body. At death, the person leaves the body, the body starts to decay and everybody who was relating to that person who was in that body, starts crying and gets very unhappy. Why? Because the person they were relating to has left. To understand the science of transmigration of the soul means understanding that the person or living being who was in that body has left that body and if they are not purified spiritually, will now enter into another gross material body. From the above brief explanation we can understand that the living being is the soul, temporarily encased within a material body. Anyone can understand that consciousness is spread all over the body. We are all conscious of the pains and pleasures of the body in part or as a whole. What pleasures and pains each of us experiences is unknown to another. Therefore, each and every body is the embodiment of an individual soul, and the symptom of the soul’s presence is perceived as individual consciousness. Living entities in lower species of life exhibit less consciousness that those in the highest form of life, the human, which exhibits greater consciousness. The point being that when the body dies, you do not die. It’s like a suit of clothes. When your clothes become old and torn you throw them away, but that doesn’t mean that you no longer exist. In the Bible it says that the material body is like a house that the soul or person temporarily resides in. With regard to belief or disbelief, it’s not difficult to understand. The body is constantly changing. All the cells die, the molecules change and presto, you have a new body. It has been documented that every seven years all the cells in the body become new ones. So the body you had when you were three years old is long gone but you are not. This means that the material particles that are making up your body now are not the same material particles that made it up previously. But, there is a substance, which has continuity and continues to exist even though your body kept changing. If you look at a picture of yourself 20 or 30 years ago you can understand that although that body in the picture is not the body you are wearing now, you still exist. This is evidence of transmigration: from baby body to boyhood body to youth body to man body to middle age body to old age body and so on. Then there’s the confusion that we are the mind. But the mind is actually a subtle material body. In the same way that the material body is always changing, so is the mind. And who is the person watching the mind change? You! Did you ever try to control you mind? Did you ever say, “I changed my mind”? What happened? Total frustration, that’s what happened. What do you do when your mind is driving you crazy? You try, to no avail, to control it. Or, you try to make your mind blank and think about nothing. Riiiiight! The point here is whether you try to make your mind blank, or you try to move you mind in one direction or another, or you can or you cannot; it is something other than the mind that is trying to do all of this. And that is you, the soul that is the witness of the mind. So then, how does the mind figure in the process of the transmigration of the soul? The soul leaves the gross material body but is still covered by the subtle material body, like the material desires and the recordings on the mind of the impressions, which are made on the mind from past experiences in the previous body. For example, you have many central experiences. You see a bird and by your eyes seeing that bird, that leaves an impression on your mind of the form of the bird. All of these forms and all of these subtle images and material desires are still covering the soul. In other words it is the subtle body, the material mind that is still covering the soul. When the soul leaves the gross body, this covering makes it so that the soul takes on another gross material body. The subtle material body, the mind, is a nucleus around which the gross material body develops. So, if the mind is still in existence when the soul leaves the body and all that stored information is not erased and the soul is still covered by the subtle body, which is the material mind, that means that I should be able to remember my past lives because I still have the same mind or that information is still there? Yet, I cannot remember my past lives. Does that mean there were no past lives? Well, despite not remembering my birth in this lifetime I still know that I was born. I can’t remember leaving the womb nor can I remember being in the womb but I know that I was. It is nature’s arrangement that our memories are imperfect. Some people spend all kinds of money to go back to remember past lives. What’s the value? There are 8,400,000 species of life in the material world of varying bodies. What value would it be to know what kind of animal or flower or microbial creature you were? An intelligent person will not be enamored with the mysticism of it all but rather, will seek a solution to stopping the process. Actually many people do not recognize that it is a problem for the living entity who is eternal by nature, to be bound up in the temporary, finite, material dimension, having to undergo repeated birth, diseases, old age and death. As such, they fail to see this as a suffering condition. To put is another way, the activities one cultivates in his or her lifetime has a definite bearing on the life they take on next time around. For example, a dog eats, sleeps, mates and defends. Sounds familiar doesn’t it? What sets us apart from the dog is the cultivation of consciousness. It means being in the world but not of the world. That means turning to God and using the world for His pleasure. To put it another way, the point is to develop an attachment for God, or God consciousness. If you’re attached to God and do everything for Him, you’ll automatically be detached from the world. Then the question of coming back to the material world is then non-existent. And since your consciousness will be directed toward God you will go to Him when you leave your body. It is said that we all began in God’s spiritual world. Due to our envy of God’s enjoyment He sends us to the material world, which is full of suffering and false enjoyment, to fulfill our desires to act like God and try to enjoy our senses to the fullest. Even though we are constantly unfulfilled, depressed and miserable, we try harder to enjoy our senses and create more and more frustration. True happiness is found when we link back up with Him and affords us the opportunity to not have to come back to the material world when we leave our bodies. Namaste!

(NaturalNews) Don’t let anyone from the cancer industry lie to you about PSA screening: The test is completely bogus and offers zero improvement in your lifespan. That’s the conclusion from a 20-year study that followed over 9,000 men. After 20 years of follow-up, guess what the results were? No significant difference in the rate of death between those screened for prostate cancer versus those who weren’t. In other words, prostate cancer screening is really a bogus test used to exploit men’s fear and recruit them into unnecessary and potentially harmful cancer treatments . That’s why the cancer industry uses the PSA test, of course: It’s a powerful recruiting tool! It scares men into agreeing to expensive, high-profit treatments which are then billed to their insurance companies, Medicaid or Medicare. (Gee, no wonder our health care system is bankrupting the nation…) This study, by the way, was published in the British Medical Journal (http://www.bmj.com/content/342/bmj.d1539). I don’t personally trust the BMJ on most issues, since it seems to so strongly favor vaccines and pharmaceuticals in its selective publication of research. But that’s what makes this so remarkable: Even the BMJ is effectively admitting that PSA tests don’t work! Why are hospitals still using a bogus quack test for prostate cancer? Given that the PSA test simply doesn’t work, it makes you wonder: Why are hospitals are cancer centers still using the PSA test? Isn’t that quackery to keep using something that doesn’t work while marketing it to patients as if it did work? It’s not just false advertising — it’s bad medicine! And if it were being done in any other industry, someone would probably get arrested. If you sold a car that turned out to be a lemon and didn’t run, you could be sued for the cost of the care. If you sold a financial product but completely misrepresented it to your customers, that would be considered criminal fraud . But why can hospitals and cancer clinics sell PSA prostate cancer tests that are completely bogus while getting away with it? The answer is because modern medicine has zero accountability . Most of it is simply fabricated quackery. Flu vaccines, for example, are based on completely fabricated quacked-up evidence that has absolutely no connection to scientific reality. ADHD screening programs are absurdly transparent as psychiatric drug marketing tools. Mammograms actually cause breast cancer, and the No. 1 side effect of chemotherapy is — get this — cancer itself! It’s all “pretend medicine” in a grand health care fairy tale Nothing in medicine, you see, has to have any actual scientific evidence behind it at all. The reason PSA tests are so popular is precisely the same reason that flu vaccines are so heavily pushed: Because modern medicine pushers suffer from a deeply-ingrained cult-like irrational belief in everything they were taught in medical school, regardless of whether it has any basis in fact. PSA tests, in other words, are a kind of medical voodoo which works no better than sticking pins in a rag doll. And as literally dozens of studies have found over the last decades, antidepressant drugs are a kind of “brain chemical voodoo” that works no better than placebo either. Let’s face it: Much of modern medicine is based entirely on a virus of the mind — a contagious yet false idea that somehow disease is caused by a lack of chemicals, radiation or surgery. It’s an insane idea, of course, yet it is the foundation of virtually the entire modern system of “health care” (sick care). A psychic would probably get you better results If you want to go get screened for all these various diseases, that’s your choice, of course. But just know as a scientific fact that most of the medical screening being offered today is no more scientifically valid than a tarot card reading . A tarot card reading might be more valuable, actually, as it would remind you to consider your inner journey and perhaps take responsibility for your life rather than handing it over to a group of utterly incompetent cancer doctors who are still using bogus prostate cancer tests that have been proven utterly useless again and again. Heck, your cancer doctor might as well use a dousing rod to diagnose your cancer. And even then, if you’re told you have cancer, the only rational thing to do anyway is to change your lifestyle and start pursuing anti-cancer activities such as juicing, walking in the sun, avoiding toxic synthetic chemicals and so on. And those things should be pursued whether you have cancer or not! This is why I never get screened for any disease . I’m in my 40′s, and I follow a very healthy lifestyle. I eat massive quantities of anti-cancer superfoods and I completely avoid (to the best of my ability) synthetic chemicals in foods, personal care products, gardening and so on. Why would I even need to get screened for cancer in the first place? There’s no valid reason for it. Cancer isn’t something that strikes you like a bolt of lightning, folks. It’s something your body can grow over decades until it becomes noticeable — and it only grows cancer tumors if you let it. The easiest way to stop growing cancer it to boost your vitamin D levels to 70 – 90, eat lots of fresh sprouts, drink fresh juices, get exercise and avoid cancer-causing chemicals. Get plenty of sleep, avoid excessive stress and eat superfoods such as berries (which are loaded with anti-cancer nutrients). And stop eating refined sugars, too, because cancer tumors just love sugar. It’s not a difficult recipe. And when truly followed, it will reduce your risk of cancer to nearly zero. Of course, a stray piece of plutonium from Fukushima could still get inhaled into your lungs and cause cancer, but even in that case, antioxidants help protect you from radiation damage , greatly reducing your risk of cancer even from nuclear fallout radiation. Nutrition and lifestyle is the answer here, not useless disease screening quackery. Don’t fall for the bogus PSA screening and mammography tests. They are designed to scare you into becoming a high-profit cancer patient. They do nothing to improve your health, and they may in fact harm you. Prostate cancer is not a very aggressive cancer in most cases. It can be easily and reliable reversed with the help of any competent naturopathic physician, herbalist or natural medicine practitioner.
The deep psychology behind your health

(NaturalNews) The relationship between psychological health and physical health has long been established. Even most medical doctors today warn against the dangers of mental stress that flows from overwork, chronic family conflict, unhealthy compensating or general maladjustment to the demands of life. This is old news. The intriguing question now is how does this relationship between mental health and physical health function? When you are stressed out, depressed or confused, how does your body react to create a state of less-than-optimal health or even disease? The answer to this question leads us down a slippery slope full of speculation and metaphor. If you’re open minded, however, the ride is not only exhilarating, but enlightening. In a recent conversation with Mike Adams of NaturalNews.com, Mike shocked me with the following: “Cancer is a natural process that gets out of control. When you cut your skin and it begins to heal, those cells are involved in a cancer-like process. They know how to divide, grow and heal. But, they also know when to stop growing. Otherwise, you would end up with a giant growth out of your arm or wherever you cut yourself. The same is true when a woman is pregnant. The cells of the fetus are involved in a cancer-like process, a very rapid division and growth in an organized way.” Here is the fascinating piece: Cancerous tumors, when removed from the body, sometimes contain hair, teeth and organs. They don’t tell people that a cancer cell in the body tries to become a whole person. Think about that for a minute. After conception, you have a single, fertilized egg. If the conditions are right, it develops into a person. That is the way it is supposed to work. But, when you have a cancer tumor in the body, it “decides” it wants to be a whole person, too. It doesn’t want to be a specialized cell, playing a small role in a larger body. It wants to be a whole body and it does not have any plans to stop dividing and spreading. What to do with this information? Consider your life. Do you know who you are and what you stand for? Do you meander through life, confused and afraid to make strong decisions? Do you live in a house divided, with internal conflict eating at you day and night? When you lie down to sleep, are you at peace or are you harangued by stray thoughts that clutter your mind? Good psychological health implies clear values, the ability to access a state of inner calm, healthy personal boundaries (knowing your limits, when to say yes vs. no) and a general, pervasive feeling of well-being and certainty in this uncertain world. These and other essential mental health resources are fundamental. Life requires them at a minimum. Those who do not naturally possess or consciously dev elop these essentials of healthy character are at a distinct disadvantage in the social realm. Are they also exposed to greater health risks? The most compelling logic suggests that, yes, they are. Imagine for a moment that your mind and body, craving the clarity, calm and certainty that comes with solid mental health and a low-stress way of being, is just not getting what it needs. Lacking direction, it lives in a state of chronic confusion, conflict and anxiety. Doesn’t it make sense that some part of you at some point takes matters into its own hands? Might that entail an attempt to develop new parts of you, given the current lack of resources? Witnessing the hair, teeth and partial organs contained in a cancerous tumor validates this logic in a very unsettling way. The moral of the story: Put real effort into your mental health! Learn to be clear, honest and certain. Know who you are and what you stand for. Develop effective communication skills and the capacity for inner peace. Give your mind and body what it needs and it won’t have a reason to rebel.
Sprouts: An ideal emergency preparedness food

(NaturalNews) Given the rapidity with which critical global events are unfolding, preparedness just makes good sense. The question isn’t whether or not to be prepared – it’s what to be prepared for? Earthquakes, nuclear accidents, tsunamis, power outages and gasoline shortages have been on this week’s menu. Each, of course, has its own specific type of preparedness protocols. But, no matter what kind of unexpected event looms large, there is always a need for food. Food shortages could result from any of the aforementioned potential scenarios, as well as from any number of scenarios that I haven’t mentioned. There are any number of ways to approach food shortage preparedness, but my preferred method is sprouts! Sprouts are, in my mind, the number one, perfect survival ration. I think that sprouting seeds belong in every household’s emergency kit. Let’s look at some of the reasons that I think this. First of all, sprouting seeds have a long storage life. Sprouting seeds can be stored up to four years at a stable temperature of 70 degrees F. They are small and lightweight and, thus, don’t take up vast amounts of storage space. You can buy them already prepared for storage or simply buy them in bulk from any reputable health food store and put them in airtight, waterproof storage containers yourself. Glass canning jars with rubber-ringed lids are a good option. You want something that is rodent proof, as little critters like seeds, too! Once sealed, the sprouting seeds can be stashed in a cool, dry, dark corner of the attic or pantry for years. The next reason that I think sprouts are ideal emergency rations is their rich, digestible energy, bioavailable vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, beneficial enzymes and phytochemicals. Let’s face it: if you are involved in an emergency situation, you want healthy, nutritious food. Crises are not the time to have to rely on empty calories. Once germinated, sprouts provide a good supply of vitamins A, E and C plus B complex. Like enzymes, vitamins serve as bioactive catalysts to assist in the digestion and metabolism of food and the release of energy. They are also essential for the healing and repair of cells. During World War II, considerable interest in sprouts developed as a result of an article written by Dr. Clive M. McKay, Professor of Nutrition at Cornell University. Dr. McKay opened his article with this dramatic announcement: “Wanted! A vegetable that will grow in any climate, will rival meat in nutritive value, will mature in 3 to 5 days, may be planted any day of the year, will require neither soil nor sunshine, will rival tomatoes in vitamin C, will be free of waste in preparation and can be cooked with little fuel and as quickly as a … chop.” Well, there you have it! Another reason that sprouts get my vote is the fact that they are extremely inexpensive. You are not tying up massive financial resources in preparedness. For example, you can get alfalfa, wheat, rye, barley, triticale, spelt, kamut, quinoa, sesame or amaranth for roughly eight dollars a pound. And, a pound of sprouting seeds is going to yield buckets of sprouts! If you want the Cadillac of sprouts, you could get broccoli sprouts for somewhere in the neighborhood of twenty-five dollars a pound. Famous for their antioxidant content, broccoli sprouts can contain up to fifty times the sulfurophane found in mature broccoli, by weight, so you get as much antioxidant in one ounce of broccoli sprouts as you would if you ate three pounds of fully grown broccoli. There is plenty of variety available, too, with sprouts. There are dozens of types of sprouts from mung and adzukis to mustard or fenugreek. If you stashed away a handful of this and a handful of that, you would have plenty of variety to keep your emergency fare from becoming monotonous. Sprouts are really versatile and can be used in green smoothies, in place of vegetables, or in all kinds of salads. In an emergency situation, they can be mixed with stored nuts and seeds to make delicious, fortifying living food salads. One of the highlights of sprouts is the ease of growing them. And, they can be grown 100 percent indoors, requiring very limited space. While they are growing, they do not need any refrigeration. And, under emergency conditions, they can be eaten directly from your “kitchen garden.” All that is needed to grow them is a glass jar with a mesh lid. Or, you can opt for growing them in a large glass baking dish on paper towels. They have to be rinsed several times a day, so having clean water on hand is, of course, imperative. A lot of good information about various methods for growing sprouts are available on the internet and you can choose a method that will fit your particular circumstances. Sprout seeds are easy to store. The germinated sprouts are packed with nutrition, alive, inexpensive, varied, and easy to grow in your “kitchen garden.” They are ideal for your preparedness kit. But, why wait for a crisis? Why not just start enjoying them now?
