Update: News channel 5 confirms door-to-door questioning of food supplies in Tennessee while canneries downplay initial reports

(NaturalNews) Citizens in Tennessee are being asked by government workers to divulge details about their preparedness plans in a door-to-door “assessment” program reported by Janet Kim from local news channel 5 (http://www.newschannel5.com/story/15948523/door-to-door-assessment-for-disaster-preparedness). During this assessment, government workers ask residents 22 questions about their preparedness status. NaturalNews has confirmed through reliable sources that these include questions about emergency food supplies. Fortunately, this effort is being done by a Tennessee group of state employees who are widely recognized throughout the preparedness community as being “good guys” who are truly just trying to help people get prepared. The Tennessee cannery that originally relayed that account to Oath Keepers has backed off their account and is now telling customers who call that federal agents never visited their cannery. The change in this first-hand account has many people scratching their heads, as this story was confirmed face-to-face by none other than Oath Keepers Tennessee Chapter President Sgt. Rand Cardwell, a USMC veteran (Desert Storm) with a solid reputation. There is virtually no possibility that Sgt. Rand Cardwell invented this story, as he is widely known to be a trustworthy individual who honorably served his country as a U.S. Marine. A far more likely explanation may be found in the Patriot Act itself, which features a sneak-and-peek with a gag order provision that allows federal agents to conduct searches of any facility and then gag the witnesses from speaking about it for at least one year, after which they may challenge the gag order. The existence of this sneak-and-peek gag order is widely acknowledged and easily verified through common web searches. Twenty-four people? Yeah, that’s reported in table 4 on page six of the study: There were 30 women taking copper in 1986 when the study began. This increased to 57 women in 1997, then decreased to 24 women in 2004 – 2008, when the study ended. So from 24 women, and through the voodoo manipulation of the data, this study concludes that copper has a 50% increase in mortality. Wow, that’s some pretty stunning science fraud. Sort of idiotic, actually. It would earn you an “F” in high school science class if you tried to pull this off. Yet the mainstream media reports this as if it were rock-solid science. In doing so, all they do is just embarrass themselves and show what science morons their own reporters still are. Most of these newspapers and newsstand magazines you see claiming to cover the news should actually be filed in the “fiction” category at booksellers. The complete scientific ignorance of mainstream journalists Sometimes I wonder what it takes to be a corporate-controlled journalist these days. First, it requires that you be a complete moron on topics such as biochemistry, food, agriculture, nutrition, basic science, the environment, economics, the money supply and of course world history . It’s almost as if mainstream media journalists are comprised of people who have been voluntarily lobotomized so that they now “qualify” to write for the dumbed-down media. Drug companies spent another $3.4 billion sponsoring professional meetings and events and about $0.4 billion placing advertisements in professional journals. To place those figures in context, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) estimated that, among its members, domestic sales of pharmaceuticals and medicines totaled $189 billion in 2008 and domestic spending on research and development totaled $38 billion.” Did you catch that? $4.7 billion in advertising through the mainstream media … and that was in 2008 (it’s much larger now). This also reveals that drug companies spent $12 billion bribing doctors , $3.4 billion running doctor “education camps” that promote more drugs, and $400 million corrupting medical journals. So we’re supposed to believe that none of this money has any influence on the Archives of Internal Medicine nor the mainstream media outlets which ran this media hoax that “vitamin will kill you?” Seriously? The media fails to disclose its own financial ties to drug interests How could any mainstream media journalist miss all this? Have they forgotten how to read? Or even how to think? Reporting on this vitamin study while failing to mention all the financial ties between the drug industry and the mainstream media itself is sort of like reporting on the Titanic’s maiden voyage across the Atlantic but failing to mention it sank . The media cover-up IS the story here! The financial corruption of the medical journals IS the story! The hoaxing of the population with a completely fabricated story based on quack science is actually one of the biggest stories of the year. And yet, obviously no one in the mainstream media will report a story based on an investigation of the total financial corruption of the mainstream media itself. FDA Trilateral Cooperation Charter – the end of health freedom as we know it

(NaturalNews) As horrific as the recent US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) guidelines are for health freedom (http://www.naturalnews.com/033482_FDA_dietary_supplements.html), they are not necessarily the worst threat currently on the regulatory horizon. Far off the radar of most in the natural health community is the quietly-developing North American Trilateral Cooperation Charter (TCC), which threatens to merge the dietary supplement regulation guidelines of the US, Mexico, and Canada into a single, highly-restrictive regulatory paradigm. The “Food and Nutrition” section of Health Canada’s “International Activities” website explains that TCC, which was officially signed by representatives from seven food, drug, health, and trade agencies of the three North American countries, is designed to “improve product safety” and “promote public health.” This is done by “facilitat[ing] the communication, collaboration, leveraging of resources, and the exchange of information on issues of mutual interest among the three countries” (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/intactivit/trilateral-coop/charter_charte-eng.php). There are many problems with such a cooperative arrangement, but one specific area of particular concern is the document’s references concerning the collaboration of product regulation among the three countries. In the summary, Health Canada states that collaboration under TCC is “intended to cover all products,” including “dietary supplements, natural health products, and food.” On the surface, efforts to mutually improve product safety by working together with one another may sound like a worthy goal. But a deeper investigation reveals that the real goal of the charter is to “harmonize” food and drug regulations among the three countries, which is also the goal of the global Codex Alimentarius guidelines (http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/us/trilateral.html). TSA screener sticks traveler’s iPad down his pants, steals $50,000 in other electronics

(NaturalNews) For all the advanced security and screening techniques it uses against innocent air travelers, the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) sure has a hard time keeping its own corrupt workers from committing crimes against those it is supposedly tasked with protecting. According to a recent report in Broward – Palm Beach New Times , 30-year-old Nelson Santiago, a former TSA worker, stole at least $50,000 worth of electronics from passengers at Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport’s Terminal 1 within the last six months, including a traveler’s iPad that he shoved down his pants during a routine screening. So while innocent airline travelers were busy being herded through naked body scanners and physically violated by other government workers who were grabbing their private parts, Santiago was rummaging through their luggage and snagging whatever appeared to be of high value. His spoils included laptop computers, GPS devices, video cameras, and a slew of other high-dollar electronics — and this time when he was actually caught, it was an iPad that he literally swiped from a bag and tried to hide in his pants. Somehow the entire TSA security circus was distracting enough for Santiago to have the time to dig through travelers’ personals, find items of value, steal them, take pictures of them, and immediately upload them online to sell. Reports indicate that Santiago often sold the items to buyers online before he had even finished his TSA shift at the airport for the day. But this time, he was caught red-handed with his loot, and was subsequently fired from his TSA position. He was also arrested and later released on a $4,000 bond where he awaits potential further charges. TSA officials claim the incident is isolated, and that it has a “zero tolerance for theft.” But if this is true, why did the agency fail to address the countless other thefts committed by Santiago in the months prior to the iPad incident?
