Twenty-four people? Yeah, that’s reported in table 4 on page six of the study: There were 30 women taking copper in 1986 when the study began. This increased to 57 women in 1997, then decreased to 24 women in 2004 – 2008, when the study ended. So from 24 women, and through the voodoo manipulation of the data, this study concludes that copper has a 50% increase in mortality. Wow, that’s some pretty stunning science fraud. Sort of idiotic, actually. It would earn you an “F” in high school science class if you tried to pull this off. Yet the mainstream media reports this as if it were rock-solid science. In doing so, all they do is just embarrass themselves and show what science morons their own reporters still are. The complete scientific ignorance of mainstream journalists Sometimes I wonder what it takes to be a corporate-controlled journalist these days. First, it requires that you be a complete moron on topics such as biochemistry, food, agriculture, nutrition, basic science, the environment, economics, the money supply and of course world history . Government Nuisance Abatement Teams forcing residents to destroy their homes and vacate land

According to a recent report by www.reason.tv, “armed county inspection squads” are regularly raiding the residences of off-the-grid valley dwellers for alleged code violations, only to later demand that such residents completely destroy their homes and vacate their property. It typically starts with code inspectors showing up at residences where they begin demanding that certain changes be made, typically in response to “neighbor complains.” If property owners comply, code inspectors proceed to find additional problems that need immediate attention. The situation then continues to escalate until agents eventually reveal their true colors, and order property owners to completely destroy all buildings and vacate the property. “The government came out and told me that my bushes and stuff out here had to be cut back,” said Joey Gallo, a retired ARMY veteran who served during the Vietnam era and Antelope Valley property owner, to reason.tv. “I agreed to take care of the problem.” After complying with the county’s demands to tidy up his property, which also ended up including moving a shed and getting rid of a motorhome, Gallo received orders from agents to level his home and move off his own property. The agents claimed that neighbors had complained about “unsightly structures,” even though Gallo has no immediate neighbors near his property. “They told me you have to get off the property. All of a sudden I’ve got police at my front door with bullet proof vests, guns. And they surrounded the place. Everything I’ve worked for was just melting away from me. I don’t know where I’m gonna go. I really don’t.” Gallo is certainly not alone, either. Another property owner by the name of Oscar Castaneda, who is also a preacher, lives just a few miles away from Gallo. A self-sustaining couple who has lived in their home for 22 years and grown their own food, generated their own electricity with solar panels, and pulled water from their own private well — all without ever needing any help from the government or anybody else — Castaneda and his wife have been ordered to destroy their home and leave their land as well. And Kim Fahey, another former Antelope Valley resident who built his own home out of old telephone poles, was raided not too long ago. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sues trucking company for sidelining alcoholic truck driver

(NaturalNews) As the actions of the federal government continue to spiral out of control — with armed raids on Gibson Guitars, raids on Rawesome Foods and the assaulting of children’s lemonade stands across America — the insanity of government only becomes more apparent. In the latest example of regulations run amok, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is suing a trucking company called Old Dominion Freight Line for “violating federal law by discriminating against a truck driver.” In what way did the trucking company “violate federal law?” It sidelined a truck driver who was an admitted alcoholic! The EEOC is now going to bring the full force of the federal government — oops, I mean the “federal family” — against this trucking company by making it reinstate the alcoholic truck driver so that he can cruise down the interstate at 70 miles per hour at the wheel of a twenty-ton rig loaded with who knows what. This, you see, is the federal government “taking care of you.” Never mind the fact that most normal people would conclude that maybe people who are admitted alcoholics probably don’t belong behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler on the interstate, but the federal government completely disagrees with that. “Alcoholism is a recognized disability under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA),” says the EEOC in a press release touting its lawsuit against the Old Dominion Freight Line. “…and disability discrimination violates this federal law,” it says. But no one in their right mind would say that having an all-too-cozy relationship with a case of Jack Daniels is a “disability.” But that’s the new political correctness in Washington, it seems. While I agree that people with substance addictions absolutely deserve help and treatment, even the federal government violates that principle with marijuana: Instead of treating people who smoke too much pot as “pot-aholics” — who should, under federal logic, be “protected” as being disabled — they are arrested and prosecuted as criminals. So how is alcohol abuse a disability but pot abuse is a felony crime? Only the goons in Washington could come up with something that offensively contradictory and punitive. Keeping the roads more dangerous for the rest of us Common sense, of course, has been all but abandoned at the federal government. At what point did alcoholism grant truck drivers immunity from being fired, anyway? Obviously, people who have habits or physical disabilities that prevent them from safely operating a large vehicle should not be allowed to operate such vehicles on the roads. Someone who suffers from frequent seizures , for example, shouldn’t be given a license to operate a freight truck. Their health condition is regrettable, but their right to drive with seizures does not outweigh the public’s expectation of reasonable safety on the roads. The federal government doesn’t understand this commonsense logic, you see. If a seizure can be classified as a “disability,” then the EEOC would sue trucking companies for removing seizure-stricken drivers from the road, too! Got a drinking problem? Get a job at a trucking company. You can’t be fired because your job is protected by the federal government! Just tell your boss you’re an alcoholic, claim it’s a “disability” and invoke the EEOC to threaten to sue your employer! But if you work at Gibson Guitar making fine musical instruments out of wood imported from India, then you’re suddenly a criminal according to the government, which raided the Gibson Guitar company and now demands they export American jobs overseas because it is illegal for U.S. workers to “process” that wood in America! My disability also makes me believe that “disabilities” means people who are physically challenged because of catastrophic injuries or birth defects (for example), not behavioral habits like biting your fingernails, or sleeping really late every day. Under the fed’s rules, someone could get a job at the U.S. Post Office, but show up late for work at 11 a.m. every day and claim they have a “sleeping disability” that causes them to sleep late. Is this a protected disability, too? I say that all these made-up, fictitious, totally bogus “disabilities” are damaging the very concept of “disabled” and making circumstances more difficult for those who are truly disabled. I completely agree it is ethically and morally wrong to fire someone just because they happen to be in a wheelchair, for example, or if they have a hearing disability. If you’re visually impaired, that’s a legitimate disability and deserves extra consideration by your employer. But don’t tell me that every guy who tips back a few too many beers is now suddenly “disabled” as well. It’s ludicrous! We need to grow up in America and stop acting like little children who need their nanny parental government to take care of everything. If someone has a drinking problem, they need to man up about it and take responsibility for their own behaviors, and the government needs to stop coddling them as some sort of “protected” class. Go get counseling. Visit AA meetings. Find a local pastor who can offer guidance. But don’t run around like you’re some sort of “disabled” person who is supposed to be protected by the federal government. Drinking is a choice , not a disability. You can choose to do something different. Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it takes therapy, or help from your friends, or whatever. Life is hard, but grow up. Be an adult. Take responsibility for your actions and make better choices. That’s what adults do, y’know? There are far too many people gaming the system for their own selfish reasons and thereby diluting the very definition of “disabled.” In a similar way, let me relate to you a true story from my past: How a white guy was awarded a black scholarship When I was in college, I remember this white guy who lived down the hall in my dorm. He was a great card player and always seemed to come out on top of the late-night poker games that went on there (I never took part, but I saw them playing a lot). The reason I say he was a “white guy” is because toward the end of our first semester there, he revealed to a bunch of us sitting in the dorm lobby that he was paying his way through college with grant money he received from a black scholarship fund . Huh? A black scholarship fund? But this guy was white, wasn’t he? Well, it turns out his great, great, great grandma was black. So genetically speaking, he was “just enough black” to qualify for this scholarship, even though his skin color was as white as mine! In other words, the chance of this guy being discriminated against due to the color of his skin was zero, given that his skin was as white as all the other white guys there. In fact, when he announced he was paying for college on a black scholarship, nobody believed him at first. We thought he was joking. But he wasn’t. Turns out it was all true. And the point of this is that by applying for this “black scholarship” grant and taking the money, this white guy was effectively using money that should have legitimately gone to a black guy! As a result, some other truly black guy did NOT get that scholarship money and was therefore not able to pay his way through college. So while our little friend technically claimed to be a black guy riding on a black scholarship, all the rest of us knew he was really a white guy who gamed the black scholarship fund application process and thereby took money out of the hands of some equally deserving black guy who was really black . You see, while I honor and respect people who have true physical disabilities, or people who have been truly discriminated against for no reason other than the color of their skin, I absolutely abhor fakers who hide behind these protections to try to game the system and exploit situations for their own selfish gain, usually at the expense of someone else. The “white guy” who took black scholarship money was exploiting the system for his own selfish gain, not even considering the true intent of that scholarship fund. Likewise, someone who hides behind alcoholism as a protected disability is gaming the system, too. Sure, alcoholism is a real behavioral issue to deal with, but it’s not like missing a leg, okay? It’s not the same as growing up without the gift of functioning vision. Much the same thing goes for those handicapped parking spaces. They should be reserved for people who truly cannot walk long distances, or who need wheelchairs to get around. Have you ever heard of people being awarded those handicapped parking tags for obscure conditions such as having Tourette’s Syndrome? I don’t know if that’s ever actually happened outside a Larry David episode (Curb Your Enthusiasm), but I have seen people park in handicapped parking spaces and just waltz right into the store with no obvious disability whatsoever. Those spots should be reserved for people in wheelchairs, I say… or people who can barely walk, people on oxygen supplies, and so on. We must discern the difference between real disability and clever excuse-making If we are going to respect and honor the people with real disabilities in this country, we’ve got to stop coddling those with behavioral habits that are simply being relabeled as disabilities. If an employer fires someone merely because they are in a wheelchair , that’s discrimination against the disabled, and that deserves to be scrutinized. But if an employer fires an alcoholic to prevent them from driving big rigs down the road while sloshed over from too many drinks, that’s just common sense. The secret history of Monsanto, Agent Orange and the mutilation of innocent Vietnamese

But where we only have movies like Apocalypse Now and a host of war novels to remind us of the majority of the unpalatable actions that took place in the 60s, the repercussions of Agent Orange are still rising and expanding – through the world and media. No matter how difficult it is to stop and listen to the stories of US military veterans who served in Vietnam, we cannot discount the myriad of first-person accounts of the damage that was caused and the cover-ups that have taken place since. One recent story was unveiled earlier this year by KPHO, a news station in Phoenix, which showcased a number of Vietnam veterans’ who suggested the US military had ordered them to bury barrels upon barrels of Agent Orange in Camp Carroll, an army base in South Korea. Veteran Steve House, who continues to suffer from a number of the diseases that have been commonly linked to Agent Orange exposure, describes digging a two-acre ditch and then filling it with barrels fitting the description of those containing Agent Orange. House suffers from Neuropathy, a fairly uncommon disease for anyone to develop without the help of poison or sustained use of the affected nerve group. Carpal Tunnel is one of the more commonly known, and minor, types of neuropathy. The disease occurs when damage is done to a group of nerve cells, resulting in loss of sensation, tingling or burning sensations in the affected nerve group, weakness, or even paralysis in extreme cases. A fellow soldier who served with House, Robert Travis, has corroborated the story: “There was approximately 25 drums, all OD green… On the barrels it said “chemicals type Agent Orange.” It had a stripe around the barrel dated 1967 for the Republic of Vietnam.” Travis currently experiences extreme weakness in his hands and feet, as well as arthritis in his neck and back. A number of US military personnel who traversed territory that had been bombed with Agent Orange reported severe neuropathy in their feet in the weeks following. They had been walking all over the herbicide for a relatively brief period, and to this day, the compound has been raging through their bodies, since, still limiting their ability to function. The majority of Vietnam veterans suffering from exposure to Agent Orange are given federal aid to contend with the consequences of exposure. The US has spent $43 million on these affected populations, to date, or under one-tenth what they have spent on veterans. But Agent Orange hotspots in Vietnam must be cleaned up if they are to stop causing more diseases and genetic defects. In 2010, a ten-year plan was proposed to clear the Agent Orange hotspots in Vietnam, the areas that still contain hazardous levels of the compound. The $300 million plan has yet to be fully funded by the US; however, it has found a number of valuable contributors, which has helped provide some more necessary momentum. Having already spent $37 million on cleaning efforts, the US has shown some amount of responsibility for its actions of the past, but it has yet to deal with the full extent of the damage, at the source. When Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, visited Vietnam late last year, she connected the project to heal some of the worst damage done to Vietnam to the strengthening of an alliance between Vietnam and the US, referring to the compound still prevalent in the ground as: “… a legacy of the painful past we share, but the project we will undertake here, as our two nations work hand-in-hand to clean up this site, is a sign of the hopeful future we are building together.” Meanwhile, the herbicide continues to produce untreatable deformities in Vietnamese youth. Yet, despite these obvious and disturbing signs that herbicides can be extremely harmful and difficult to dislodge, the companies that produced Agent Orange still grow and develop, increasing their product lines, their bottom lines, and revenue, not only in the US but across the world. A quick glance on the Monsanto web page on June 20 of 2011 portrays the company has grown by over 8% per year, on average, since 2007. Monsanto, along with Dow Chemicals, were the two companies, which produced the approximately 12 million gallons of Agent Orange that the US military used to destroy about 14% of Vietnam’s natural environment. The companies have easily batted away all protests and claims against them, passing the buck to the US government as the culprit. Perhaps they are well within their legal rights. After all, they simply filled the orders given them, much like a firearms producer. Can we blame them for how the US military dispersed their product? Perhaps not. However, there is still plenty of room for suspicion of foul play. If Monsanto and Dow Chemicals knew exactly how dangerous their product was, then it would have been their responsibility to inform the government of the long-term and catastrophic effects of mass dissemination. If they did not know these basic facts about the dangers of their own product, then it is a case of rampant negligence, the kind of which they can only be expected to reproduce, without significant consequences for their irresponsibility. At least these companies should acknowledge the part they did play in what people are too afraid to label, genocide. Len Aldis, founder of the UK-Vietnam Friendship Association, who has contributed a large amount of his own funds and time in support of the effort to clean up Agent Orange in Vietnam, does level sincere blame on the heads of Monsanto and Dow Chemicals. In a letter addressed to Monsanto’s Board of Directors, Mr. Aldis writes: “You may not be aware of the part played by your company in this criminal act, but there have been many protests here in the UK and many other countries at the use of Agent Orange on Vietnam… I have seen the results of your product in jars containing unborn babies, a sight not many people could stomach seeing.” To this date, Mr. Aldis has received no reply, a stance that is upheld on Monsanto and Dow Chemicals’ websites. Chinese companies mass producing fake rice out of plastic

TSA agents and Nazi war criminals (comic)

(NaturalNews) Some apologists are now attempting to defend the lewd, obscene behavior of TSA agents by claiming “they’re just doing their jobs.” This is the exact same quote that was used by Nazi war criminals to justify their treatment of Jewish concentration camp prisoners; or by Japanese soldiers who raped and pillaged Chinese villages in World War II; or even by government hit men throughout history who have killed innocents because their bosses told them to. “I’m just doing my job” is the excuse of the weak-minded. It is a desperate attempt to shift responsibility for one’s actions to someone else and therefore take on the actions of a mindless, immoral automaton who is incapable of independent thought. Throughout history, countless atrocities and war crimes have been conducted under the excuse of “I’m just doing my job.” To hear it now cited in the United States of America is a worrisome red flag that we are headed into an era where rational thought is being overrun by fear mongering idiots. Individual human beings have a moral and ethical responsibility to protect their fellow countrymen (and women) In the real world, the excuse of “just doing my job” doesn’t cut it. U.S. government workers have a personal and patriotic responsibility to ensure that their actions do not deprive American citizens of their Constitutional rights. A U.S. government employee who engages in behavior that violates the rights of American citizens — even if ordered to do so — is himself guilty of those violations under civil law (and perhaps criminal law, depending on the violation). No particular group of workers can be allowed to commit obscene crimes against the American people merely because they receive a paycheck from the government itself. To really drive this point home, consider the following: If “Bob” hires “John” to molest the wife and children of some U.S. Senator, for example, is that okay merely because John is “doing his job?” Of course not. The fact that a paycheck is involved does not nullify the need for human beings to act with personal ethics and common sense. Now, how about if the U.S. government hires John to molest the wife and children of air travelers? Is that okay because John is “just doing his job?” Of course not. The identity of the employer does not change the ethics of the situation. One human being engaging in lewd, sexual touching of another human being without their invitation and consent is a criminal act, regardless of who signs the paychecks. And to require people to submit to such molestation under the threat of gunpoint arrest at the airports is even worse because it is a coerced crime against innocents. Who’s going to say no when they’re afraid of being arrested at gunpoint, handcuffed to a chair and interrogated for several hours? This whole point seems so obvious to me (and to most people who have ethics) that it’s bewildering we even have to bother explaining it to the apologists who try to defend this highly inappropriate (and criminal) behavior on the part of the TSA. Maybe we should take these people back in a time machine and show them the horrors of Nazi Germany, or the Vietnam War, or the atrocities committed by the soldiers of Stalin or Mao — and then see if they still think the phrase “I’m just doing my job” is a valid excuse for committing crimes against innocent people. Because I don’t know about you, but I’m never “just doing my job.” I’m always thinking about what’s right. I’m constantly making choices about ethics and morality. I’m questioning everything I’m told and measuring things against an internal moral standard that I’m always working to improve each day. Now, I’m not perfect, and I’ve made mistakes in my life, but I’ve never been so stupid as to think that I could hide behind the pathetic excuse of saying “I’m just doing my job.” That phrase is the proclamation of the pitiful. It is the surrender-cry of the mentally deficient. And it is a blatant admission of one’s own moral ineptitude in a world where right and wrong are often pretty simple to figure out. Reaching down the pants and feeling up some little kid in the context of “anti-terrorism” is morally wrong. This isn’t a complicated realization. It’s just basic common sense. Any TSA agent that had any sense at all would simply refuse to engage in such behaviors. If fired from his job, he could sue the TSA for requiring him to commit crimes in the line of duty. It’s true that there are really bad people out there — people and groups who want to bring America down. There are some good people in Washington who are fighting for our safety behind the scenes. Yes, the FBI, CIA and NSA all have “a few good men” who are doing things around the world that you and I don’t even want to know about. Stuff that would make you cringe if you knew about it. The sacrifices being made by some of these individuals in the name of protecting America’s interests on the international stage will never be fully known, nor recognized by anyone in the mainstream. The everyday American people who go about their lives shopping, watching TV, collecting a paycheck and surfing the ‘web have no idea what goes on behind the scenes to give them the luxury of pursuing such a carefree lifestyle. That’s why nothing I print here is intended to disrespect the front-line warriors who are fighting for America’s interests — soldiers, the few “good” feds, etc. But at the same time that there are some “good men” (and women) in these agencies, there are also some rotten apples (like in any organization, I suppose). There are some people working in the government who absolutely would not hesitate to stage a false flag attack if it meant increasing their power, their pay and their importance. And those people must be scratching their heads right now, thinking, “Gee, it sure would be easy to pull off a staged event of some kind that keeps us all in power.” I just hope they come to their senses and realize they should not be at war with the American people . They’re supposed to be fighting to protect our freedoms, not to take away our freedoms. The real war is with the true enemies of America — those state-sponsored terrorist groups that genuinely want to destroy America and everything it stands for. Certainly, we must not let the terrorists win. But neither must we allow freedom to perish in the process. Reasonable security is fine As a freedom-loving American who values both my freedom and my safety, I will gladly submit to having my luggage X-rayed and walking through a metal detector. I will gladly sit beside an armed Air Marshal on the flight, captained by an armed pilot on the flight deck who hopefully has a couple of spare mags along with his Colt 1911, too (pilots carry firearms on airplanes right now, most people don’t even know..). Yet as much as those security precautions seem reasonable, I refuse to subject myself to a body X-ray that emits ionizing radiation, and I refuse to give in to an obscene pat-down that involves government personnel feeling up my genitals, with or without a latex glove. At that point, “security” has become tyranny. And the terrorists have already won. We need to rise up and stop this. Just as some of our undercover federal agents (and active soldiers) are fighting for America’s interests overseas, you and I need to be fighting for our freedom right here at home, on American soil, with this airport security issue. We are not subjects. We are not cattle.
